The full body-bag that he was transporting was the perfect decoy. The high point was the de-gassing after the many pinecone burgers they made in their camp. Can you imagine more fun, well yes - the beers thoughts in their minds that they'd have if they manage to crawl through that icy bog to freedom. Don't worry about their carbon footprint, the endless howling gales that screamed across the tundra swept that far away. It was a clever discovery to tie themselves down at night, in case wolves attacked. I want Maarten to visit when that quack gives me some dire diagnosis. In the face of challenges, nothing could cheer anyone up more. Thanks MO.
Nice video. I did the Green Divide last year, but with stays in Hotels and would like to do the Veluwe Divide from Erwin again with a tent. Which campsite did you guys stay at? And can you recommend it? Thx! (:
@@marvingvk Hi Marvin! Thanks for watching the video! We used a campsite called Zegenoord on day 1 and De Tol on day 2. But the Veluwe area is littered with campsites, it’s quite touristy. Therefore also good to check and maybe even book in advance. It can be hard to find a spot during the summer season. Let me know if you have any other questions!
