Fitting the wingtip adaptor for Whelen strobes or uAvionix

  • Wilco sells a wingtip adaptor which allows mounting of Whelen strobes. uAvionix offers a version of this same adaptor for their device. In the past you could get them pre-trimmed, but wingtips vary too much for a good chance at fitting.
    This video walks through my process for fitting up these adaptors onto the wingtip.

    Trying to find best option to fit skyBeacon to a 68 FG. Looks like this might work. Do you have a link or ph# for Wilco ?

    Got a question, Is this the only STC kit out there that makes those WAT 650 lights legal on cessna 182S?
