Hi Veena, love your tutorials. Thank you for all the work you share. Just wondering if I could colour the liquid before I brushed it on to the rice paper for different colours instead of brushing on the powder.
Thank you so much Trudi
@@Veena_Azmanov hey
Can we make rice paper at home?
I used this method on a printed wafer paper (oneside printed) and it did not bleed. I painted the unprinted side frist
Thanks, Allison. for letting us know.

What are your measurements? Did you warm up the gelatin at all before adding the chocolate? If so, for how long? How can.I attach this to fondant? Or can I do it straight on to butter cream? Can I use edible spray on it like buster dust spray?
If you click on the link to my blog post below the video

Click on the link below the video to my blog - everything is written in details. Thanks
Yes I got it all from there, thank you. How would you store these and for how long? According to your experiment
As I show in the video I store then in foil and the ones I made are still nice a soft.. It's been over a month now..XX
Hi Veena. Should I paint on it with gel food colour after making the fabric? Please reply.
I have not tried that. If you do try. let us know the results. Thanks.
@@Veena_Azmanov OK I will.
Hai veena how thickness the wafer paper
Wafer paper comes in a standard (one thickness)
Did you try airbrushing the finished product? Would that work?
NO I only worked on the one that I already aribrushed before.
Can i attach it to buttercream cake for decoration
You can use it on buttercream cakes for sure. But buttercream can't attach two pieces together. Melted gelatin will
From where shall I get rice paper sheet and glycerine???Is it same glycerine that is used for cosmetic purpose??
Wafer paper and glycerin you can get at any cake decorating store. Glycerin can also be got from a Pharmacy. Glycerin has to be the edible one not otherwise.
Thanku so much....
How long can it be stored for
The one I made has been kept for 3 weeks and it still soft in the foil. Don't know how long more.. But looks like it will stay long if kept well wrapped
Hi! Tell me please, how do I stick the fabric to my cake?
You can use melted gelatin - on some cakes melted chocolate would also work.
Will water work too?
You can try but I didn't have success with water.
can I use sugar sheet instead of rice sheet?
I don't know!! Sorry I have not used it on sugar sheet. i highly recommend doing a small piece as experiment and checking it out.
I know this comment is old but in case anyone else is wondering...I just tried this yesterday with a sugar sheet and it didn't really work for me. Although it was very similar to the outcome when using wafer paper, it ended up being puckered in areas and had little creases. It also hardened and cracked after a few hours. Maybe a different combo of ingredients may work better for the sugar sheet..?
Mam can we make rice paper at home?

Hey! Great video! How strong is the finished product? Do you think its feesable to make a bag from this material? Thanks :)
You can make a bag cake topper but it won't hold any weight. Hope this helps
How about a waffer sheet
I have not tried it with anything else you are free to experiment and let us know your results. THanks
Replace of adible papper because here is not available
mam plz recipe in Hindi
what about dusting with cocoa powder?
I think cocoa powder might be a messy job and stain your cake but you can try and see what happens.
I have seen this demonstrated where the rice paper was first airbrushed with brown color, then have the gelatin/glycerin mix brushed on and then cocoa powder as the dry part. It worked beautifully. Looked like leather!
