After repeatedly trying to pry off the filter cover, finally I had to resort to brute force and yank it off as hard as I could. I was sure I was going to break it, but thankfully I didn't.

Those dyson Dc07s are very very uncommon in that colour scheme! I’ve never seen one for sale in those colours.
