The funny thing is she actually modified her own version of Zoltraak that resembles rifle shooting in the manga and it's powerful enough to pierce through the defenses of one of the Demon Sages of Destruction and kill it. It's range is longer than the said demon's mana detection range.
It's a good thing Fern didn't overreact and kept calm.
