2006-2010 Dodge Charger lower ball joint replacement

This videos shows what to remove to get to the lower ball joint and replace it, I tried removing it myself but there was no success, end it up taking it to a shop and have them do it for me.. but at least shows some of the parts that needed to be remove to do the job.

You had it correct, my friend. The middle cylinder was the right receiver. The small one installs it. I always compare the pieces with the new one to be sure. In any case, thanks for the video. It's a huge help!

Well after watching this video I decided to take the part as well to mechanic and have new ball joint pressed in-and- old out save myself the headache replacing the whole front suspension already

Good job on the ball joint press! If you don't have the right tool for the job, don't bullshit around with it. Get help from somebody that has the right tools.

I know right ... I was replacing inner tie rods 2 nd even 3 times a year till I upgraded to moog 3 years later still has no play

I have the EXACT same tool from o’reilys and I can confirm theirs does NOT work. The middle size cup is just a mm or so to small and the large has too much play. It’s not the right tool unfortunately but I’m going to see if autozones tool will fit my RT.

You cal also use a flat head for the snap ring if you don't have the right tool its way easier
