Really ? Canyon road bikes are great bikes.I own 3 rim - brake bikes. But why people buy such heavy and massive things. Any benefit ? I do not get it. I still ride rim brake bikes, most of them under 5,5 kg.

Personally, I don't own this bike, but I saw somewhere that the old seat post issue has been fixed. I could be wrong.

It's an individual decision. Also, the differences are not relevant for our pro riders ✌🏽
99% the comments on a new bike is NICE, Lovely color etc etc. Noone actually says how does rides etc etc.
The entire front end is so trippy. Given how often Canyon seat tubes are cracking because of how fragile they are (not on the aeroad though afaik), you really, really have to trust Canyon with that weird ass steerer + stem / compression plug thing, and that 3 part bar which, as far as i can tell, is in 3 parts purely for costs reasons - which makes sense given how unique the entire front end is. For a sprinter though, this whole front end is exactly what i would not want: all untested designs and bits that aren't one piece. Given the horrid track record of specialized at making front ends & the number of product recalls they had whenever they tried exotic things, it really is a strange design choice. It also locks you in with Canyon front ends and whatever they stock, at whatever price they choose.

The quality and durability are definitely there. But Canyon desperately needs a great designer. They don't even have a headtube logo. The frame design is generic aero. It's a workhorse, and looks the part.
A Madone, S5 or Foil can be spotted from far away. Not the Aeroad. Even a Reacto looks elegant in comparison.
When you pay 8 or 9k for a high end bike, you want it to look great as well. Not just performance.
Clearly the same mechanic didn't build my Canyon, chipped paintwork, crap bar tape wrapping, brake lines full of air, a thumb print i think under the paintwork, loose cassette and disc rotors also whats the deal with the stock saddle? my be the most uncomfortable short heavy saddle ever and the seatpost you have to almost break to adjust tilt angle.

Press fits are better when done right.
As if a pro wouldn’t have had the BB checked for round and reamed (if required) and checked using sizing tools. All for a good vid, but that’s BS.
The outro aligns poorly with the pacing of the build. You should have kept in separate videos or done a fast-paced edit of the build relying on the sound and motion of the bike parts for transitions.
Even Jasper rides a press-fit BB. T47 phaa! …but the minimal hipster fashion build is pretty lame. sorry.
Maybe a great bike and ensemble... but what a dull and boring colour.. primer grey.. yuk..
Yeah you just skipped the most horrible part of the build- getting the brake hoses through the stem and bar. Fortunately this is a semi wireless Di2 setup. I just did a headset bearing change on a 11 spd Ultegra Di2 with wires and brake hoses running throughthe bar/stem. It was the most horrible job I ever did as a mechanic in the past 14 years. I may look nice on a video but don't be fooled. I guess it's ok for the customer to pay TWICE the price for a full service on a normal bike just to change 2 headset bearings? All in the name of "aero". Scuze me but this is dumb

Correction* He is most likely using Dynamic Galli Grease Pro. This is sold directly at Cannyons website, and is a type of anti-seize
