With the time I spend having help trimming the same areas multiple times, telling them NOT to do certain things they get in their head to do, forgetting to do what I tell them, reminding them to look at an area before movinf onto the next, trim right to left instead of left to right, and trim a property in such a way that you're not forgetting areas and hopping around.. NO, it's definitely NOT more profitable right now 😂 And I 100 percent have more Peace when I work solo.... but I am trying to look toward the future, and look at this as an investment into people, and into my business. It's a busy year, but Jesus, it's been a hella trying year so far....
🤜❤️🤛 My brother KODIAK… Keep up the efforts, it will be worth it eventually!! 🙏😎✊

Nice yards, helpers makes the day go by faster maybe easier when they are trained. I keep mines at 10-12 per day and price them right. I feel like I’m more happier, productive, productive, and faster by myself.
I can see that. Im definately faster with him though. But he has been with me on/off for 3 seasons and knows the yards. Some days knowing im going to have help helps my motivation and i dont feel so overwhelmed.
The main concern with me and a helper is I would have to take more yards on to help cover labor cost. Right now I have all I can do by myself so if I take more yard and the helper quits how am I going to get the extra yards done. Although I think a helper is the way to go. Dependable, trustworthy and likable with a good work ethic where do you find them my experience is everyone that wants a job already has one 🤷♂️ Sts lawncare
He helps me ensure i get my routes done when we have rainy weeks and also it helps me get the side projects done that i put off because im too busy mowing. Extra yards to compensate for paying him wouldnt be an issue because of how many i give away to other people because i cant take anymore on
Having a new helper is like a new mower.
They all mow great when they are shiny.
Get a little dirt on em and then see if they are reliable over time.
The one I have is awesome, he has run with me when he can for 3 seasons. The problem is he has a regular full time job with overtime. But i will take him when I can get him
Lol
My old knees would love a helper. Had one or two for years. Just not worth the trouble for me. Btw, nobody would wanna spend ten hours in the truck with me (even my woman).
My knee looks like a grapefruit right now. And yea its a pain, went through 3 last year. This one is great and been with me for 3 seasons. But i dont get him very often because of his regular job
I feel your pain. I'm 64 and hurt somewhere differant each day, I did 13 Saturday and the last 3 about killed me.
In Connecticut/Rhode Island, landscapers charge customer $65/hr for each person working. This is landscaping not cutting grass. Most put about 4 person crews on jobs, clear about $25 -$30/hr on each worker which gives the owner a $800 - $960 profit per day (before taxes). Not sure $50 a yard grass cutting can support a helper legally on a payroll.
In the video I state that I am going to use $50 hypothetically because its easier to donthe math and make a point
@@pandhlawncare I missed that. Sorry
