      I bought a few pairs of fishing pants at academy this year. They are light weight, cool, and dry really fast. Plus they have cargo pockets so i just cut a piece off and stick it in there..seems like every time i wash them though there is string in the pocket..lol. Thanks for watching

    Nice set up. Those are two of my top 3 brands. Between the lazer and the tt2, watch the weight of the scag. It will track/rut softer customers yards, but is unmatched when it comes to acreage mows. For me I’m too obsessed with clipping size and dispersion, so my scags stay at the shop on my residential days.

    • @pandhlawncare
      @pandhlawncare  Před 4 lety +1

      One of my tie breakers was how the lazer z did on wet grass. I try not to mow when its wet but you and i both know sometimes you have to. Both are great machines but since i can only have 1 im still thinkn scag. Thank you for the tips and for the view. Have a great season

    NGL, I much prefer hand held blowers over backpack ones. The backpack works better, but you feel better at the end of the day using a handheld.

    that turf tiger 2 really is a beast 1600 lbs worth. buddy has one--- very limited use machine. get a nice 61" stander- you can do so much more with it. I really like your trailer setup. try turning your edger racks 90 degrees so the equipment hangs down. you wont need those darn engine supports. have a safe and prosperous 2020.

    Setup looks damn good man! I just posted my setup for my open trailer but am in the market for an enclosed trailer. I have the KM111R Kombisystem trimmer with the articulating hedge trimmer. I love the thing but was also in the market for a handheld gas trimmer. Didnt use the things enough to buy the high dollar trimmers, so I keep an electric one in my truck with 3 extension cords. If I cant plug it in at a customers house, I have a 1000w power inverter that hooks up to my batteries. I totally here ya on doing it the best way as cost effective without being cheap! Might look into the residential model like you said. Cheers

    • @ruthford112
      @ruthford112 Před 4 lety +1

      Jason Simmons cheetah is more compact than the turf tiger, an faster. But the turf tiger is better for trimming an hills. My turf tiger has nearly 3000 hours on it. My cheetah is just over 1000. Also have a 2003 tiger cub with 1800 hrs, an a 52" tiger cat plus 52" v ride. In the past I have had a Dixie chopper, exmark, toro, ferris, John Deere an a 1996 walker mt. So in my opinion, based on 23 years experience, you can't go wrong with scag products.

The FX 691 is fine if you aren't mowing real tall stuff. Not that it want get it done but it bogs down . I think I'll move up to the Cheeta . I've been slobbering on them some when I go in for blades and stuff . Have a good season ! Tennessee , what a place to live , you guys have some sweet fishing holes !

    I would recommend just get a dump trailer and use it for when you're doing fall clean up and spring clean up and when customers want you to bag and haul their grass which you will charge extra for. Dump insert to me is a waste of money.

    • @pandhlawncare
      @pandhlawncare  Před 3 lety

      Ive been considering both options. I have found this season that much of the week my truck bed is full of some kind of debris, clippings, grass, trees branches etc. from where im doing my routes and people say “hey while youre here can you...so im thinking about a dedicated 3/4 ton work truck with an insert and having a different truck for personal use. I use the .90 but I don’t eat it up on fences. The stuff spins up sooo fast! You use less throttle and it’s soo sharp it cuts cleaner then most mowers! JCraven exmark WILL NOT cut wet grass..anybody that says it will is full of it..i have a couple vids showin how bad it clumps and its barely wet..that was the deciding factor between turf tiger and lazer z. The tiger cat 2 is a great mower

    How far apart do you have the trimmer racks? I unfortunately mounted mine up on my trailer without taking a measurement of my HL94K hedge trimmer and they’re too far apart to get the HL94K to go on. Where do you have the 2 block mounts mounted on the shaft?

      @pandhlawncare  Před 4 lety

      I didnt even read the instructions when i installed mine i pulled, i think, dans vlog and watched it and did what he did. They are 37” apart. I put the first block 1” in front of the throttle grip then i loosley put the other one on and put it in the rack then slid it into the holder and tightened it up. I have the longer one. I bend the head downward at a 90’ angle and it works fine...hope this helps and thanks for watching. Anymore questions just give me a shout

    • @p1lawns
      @p1lawns Před 4 lety

      P & H Lawn Care I think the fact that mine is the shorter shaft is the main issue. The longer shaft HL94 is just fine with the racks 37” apart (which I think is what the instructions say and it’s what I have mine at also).
