- Footage on Chinese social media has revealed big gaps in Japan's defences. This 20-second footage is from one of Japan's Naval bases and shows warships docked it was captured by a drone that went undetected. It was only after the video surfaced on Chinese social media platforms that Tokyo took notice of the breach.

How come radars that finds air crafts but cant detect a drone
Mini drones can be detected but are seen as non threatening. Bases can enforce no fly zones and just shoot down drones if they wanted to. They just need to be labeled as threats.
Because they are a lot smaller, produce so little heat and almost have almost no radar cross-section, they can also just be seen as small birds by some radars.
