I absolutely adore my Gentle Tarot deck. It hones in on the exact message I need, especially if I’m struggling. I call it my Universe deck, because it feels like a direct voice from the Universe to my soul-I use it nearly daily. And it’s just beautiful. Plus the guidebook book is amazing. This is a deck I couldn’t be without, since that’s been a trend on Tarot Tube. Great walkthrough-love hearing your intuitive take on the cards.

I'm saving this video because I know I'll want to rewatch as I start workign with my Gentle Tarot deck. I backed it on KS and love it, and love the guidebook, yet your walkthroughs bring out so much more, the richness and depth you find in each card! Seriously, not only did I have goosebumps several times, but my eyes flooded with tears, which has never happened. So glad this deck found its way to you.

I love your walkthroughs but had no intention of getting this deck. Until you uncovered the death card and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. Gorgeous deck and your interpretation is insightful as always.
I actually like this so much more than I thought I would. It’s really quite lovely and meaty. I dig the vibe. I love that the human figures are more representational in style than actually depicting a specific person type. The only card I don’t like is the lovers, but that’s not uncommon for me and it’s not a dealbreaker in this case. Death is an important card to me and I love the death card in this. I also really love that she numbered the court cards since that’s kind of how I think about them personally. The guidebook seems stellar too. I’m really impressed with this deck. I love your deep dive walkthroughs. Thanks so much for sharing this one, Lisa! ❤️
Hi love! Thank you so much for your feedback! Actually, the Lovers card is only card in the entire deck that was incomplete. Even for me, it felt like it was not in its final form and felt like a draft. I am planning to add an additional Lovers card option in the pocket deck coming out this summer, as well as an update in the Second Edition (when the time comes to print a Second Edition). Oh WOOOW this guidebook is absolutely rich with yummy nuggets of wisdom. I wasn't sure how I felt about this deck but your walkthrough has helped solidify that I want it. I work very closely with my guidebooks too because I feel it helps me build a better connection with my decks, so if the guidebook isn't comprehensive and chunky then it tends to be a deal breaker for me and this one REALLY speaks to me. I can see myself using it to communicate with my ancestors; I feel the messages in the guidebook are so comforting yet illuminating while also providing realistic and practical advice. I have decks where the meanings in the guidebooks feel too fluffy with esoteric meaning that you lose that down to earth connection but this deck is sooo down to earth and I'm all about it!!! 🙌😍😊 tysm for this walkthrough Lisa!!!!

I like the figures too. It looks like these people, for a change, aren't aware of being seen, or they live beyond that, apart from it. Like you said, they're present.

This isn’t typically my style of deck and I don’t really have a connection to Alaska but I kinda love this deck and it feels so nurturing somehow. I really want this deck.

I don’t know if you know about spinning fibers. Qiviut is the downy fiber from the Muskox. It is very, very soft, warm and is extremely strong. Qiviut cost about $48. an ounce.
I acutally spent some time spinning (drop spindle and kick-spindle) but hadn't encountered that fiber... I spun some wool, alpaca and silk..... such a cool bit of trivia - thank you for sharing!!

I always said I wanted to be a sea otter in my next life ever since I saw a wildlife show where a group of them were scampering up the back of a small iceberg and when they got to the top, they would get on their stomach and slide down the front of the iceberg and shooting off the end into the water just to climb out and do it all over again. Those animals know how to have fun. This deck is gorgeous and I love to listen to you go through decks because you are so good at reading the cards. I learn a lot from you on how to see things in cards that other people might not pick up on. When you went through the Tarot of Mystical Moments, I actually took notes on the things that you said to help me when I use that deck.

I super love this deck. But it’s one of those where I really wish she’d gone with a glossy cardstock lol. My copy is kind of waxy in a way that seems to dull the images. The colors are soooo rich. I just find myself wishing they’d pop more. I’m really splitting hairs, though, because it is such a lovely deck.

Can anyone recommend a deck for beginners that has colours for the majors and the suits? I think that would really help me :)
Justice...for me it's pouches of seeds...
I mourn that the deck did neither choose to be a one gender deck nor manage to celebrate human diversity (especially while bending gender notions with the animals). Additionally there's only variation in body shape but very very few in body type. Sigh.
So despite the really wonderful art, the depiction of so many animals I love (snowy fox, owl, whale, reindeer, salmon, crane, seal, weasel, crow/raven, ...) ... there's that ungentle disbalance for me ... that truly spoils the deck for me. Sigh.
Maybe just another lovers cards would have prevented that. (How do you feel about the heteronormative roll-back in VI, Lisa ? Or: Why doesn't it bother you?)
Fortunately... for me, there's a deck that has some similarities and certainly will work for me: Animal Woman.
