I love this deck! I had to sit with the ppl cards for a minute, but once I got it, it stuck. I also love your take on some of the cards, your deep dive walkthroughs are phenomenal, and I often enjoy coming back to them after using a deck for a little while to get a new perspective on the cards. The order in which the creator chose to present the suits does make sense from the perspective of going from pain and trauma (bells/swords) to creating a new life (candles/wands) to solidifying it in the physical realm (discs/tomes) to finally feeling, accepting, and enjoying (cups/vials). I think this aligns well with not only their journey but the journey of many of us. Great walkthrough, Lisa 🙏🏻💗

I just picked up this deck on Cedar’s website. I bought it in a bundle with the Threadbound Oracle. It came out to $40 a deck. I thought that was a great price and couldn’t pass it up. After seeing your video I’m really excited to get it. The color on the cards are amazing and I like some of their takes on the cards. 😁

As someone who likes to keep their decks in the boxes, I shuddered at that giant tuck box (although it is incredibly beautiful!) I have never sat and properly engaged with a walkthrough of this deck, and I am so taken with the vibrancy of it. Like you, there were certainly a couple of cards that didn't totally resonate with me right off the bat, but it is definitely very intriguing. Thank you for this deep dive, Lisa!

Mine is still on its way. You mentioned the backs. The first thing to come to my mind was the Transgender Flag.

I have a question. I'm a beginner who's currently working with a super-indie, not strictly RWS-based deck (it's the Girls Drawin' Girls tarot that's now out of print). It's super tailored to me, and I've been having difficulty reading RWS-based decks because they don't match how my deck reads. I've been considering getting another deck, and I was wondering if you would need both the Sasuraibito tarot and the Numinous tarot? Or which one would you choose if you just chose one? The Numinous tarot Kickstarter for the third edition opens on March 12, and the Sasuraibito tarot is getting reprinted in May, so I have some time to think about it. Thanks!
Thanks so much for doing such a deep walkthrough! I love so many images in this deck but have hesitated purchasing it because of a few I didn’t “get”. Now I see there’s soooo much more symbolism in the cards than I originally thought. That mystic of vials gives me reason enough alone to get this deck when it’s republished. 💕

I'm currently behind with watching all the videos, so sorry that I comment late. But I really wanted to share sth about the 7 of bells card. The little bell that the person is cutting of/taking away is actually on a skirt of another dancer. It's just in close up. You can even see the shoe. Interesting to interpret. Like the bell represents our own thoughts, beliefs, voice or opinion and it's been taken away by somebody else. So we loose our own standpoint and not even recognise it because somebody else influences and manipulates us.
Also I can totally relate with starting to many books at once.
That book burning card though...😮

I don't like the Death card. But hey, not everybody has to love every deck. I'm sure this is gonna be some else's perfect deck. :)
