This was a great interview. I sold a $930,000 home (My highest sell) last year and I tell you that it was the hardest sell that I have done thus far. The check at the end was well worth it but I spent close to $1,400 on equipment and advertising for this home and spent a ton of time setting up the home to be sold. Like Chauncey, that is not my cup of tea but because it was for a friend I did it.

@@sidney5375 I think it was worth it because it made me step up my business to a higher standard that I now use on all of my listings. But it was definitely tough going back and forth with the seller about all the other add ons they wanted to do. Video, drone, pictures 4 different times, uhaul trucks…. I went all out on that deal.

@@user-cg7jp7jt4v originally I took photos of the house only. Then they wanted pictures of the golf course and other locations close by. Which is okay because I do that already. Than they saw a specific style of video and they wanted one to match. Then they asked for drone shots, which I didn’t even own a drown. But I think all in all it was worth it because it helped me step up my listings.

I am a top salesman in Car sales at my Dealership. I often deal with high income clients. I’ve been to the Cowboys club and a few other high end Steakhouses in the DFW area many times. So I have no problem building rapport no matter the income level. I would love to go into Real-estate. I’m just afraid to make the jump because I’m comfortable at my current job. I’ve been asked a few times to transition to that market but everyone inflates or exaggerates their experiences and possible earnings.

A lot of times I feel as if it’s too late for me to jump into the RE business. I’m 23 years old and have been in the military since 18. I decided this year that I will not be extending my military contract and I will be separating next year to pursue what it is I actually want to do with my life. It’s so crazy that your videos started popping up on my timeline because the timing couldn’t be better and I love listening to you speak with so much enthusiasm and really just give out so much knowledge. I’m anxious to begin my new career next year, and I cannot wait to look back on this comment further down the road. I am certainly positive that the information you’re sharing on this channel will aid my success. I’m speaking it into existence now! Thank you for everything you do ma’am!

You know how it is, everyone in the military only speaks about “making it to 20” but no one actually enjoys the process. I’d much rather roll the dice and bet on myself to be successful at something I actually want to do with my life. Best of luck to you also!

Someone is looking out for me and made this video appear in my suggestions and I'm SO glad it did. I'm glad someone else found the Selling franchise trashy, I was appalled by their lack of manners and class, but that makes for great TV, nothing more. Selling OC I had to stop watching and come back to at times because none of the women except the rose girls act like ladies on that show. I would run the other way if I were a client thinking of listing there. This just confirmed to me tonight this is the space I should be in. I have been a class act dating back to my childhood. I used to subscribe to Harper's Bazaar and study all of the fashion trends the wealthy follow. From the way they dress to how they eat, I feel like a documentarian of the upper class. No matter what personal price point I'm in, looking my best while talking intelligently and learning the mannerisms and hobbies of old money is a favorite pastime of mine. Anyone could learn a thing or two from them. Learning new skills and information about the world around you makes you mentally valuable and adds to your overall worth as a person. You can tell this space has rubbed off on "Bradford" within five minutes of listening to him. Half of the art of any deal is socializing and making the client comfortable on a personal level with you in their space. I compare it to going under cover for a journalism assignment. Blend in like a local. Eat their food, listen to their music, read their books, speak like they would. Project confidence and class as you receive in return. There are ways to convey a feeling and connection without being the loudest in the room. Old money is: stuffy, traditional, and old fashioned... But I love it. Great video Chauncey, I just subscribed!
