    This was a good peek at what I need and ideas to create some good art. I have been doing art all my life, when I was a kid I did trains and meirals under bridges but for the last 20 years I've been tattooing doing portraits and engraving. I wanted to get my truck airbrushed so I figured I'd pick this up too. I had a starter kit when I was a tagger but nothing serious. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the kind words Carsten!!!! Big hello from my students & myself!! The reason I help these poor kids is that 2 years ago I was involved in a motorcycle accident where a car hit me. As a result I lost my leg, an eye & a fractured back! I personally know how these kids feel..... The discrimination/ bullying, the medical issues they will face for the rest of they're lives..... It's really not fair for the kids! So it is worth me giving them something to look forward to every week.... Teaching them a skill, socialising with other kids with disabilities & watching they're faces light up when we watch your channel....... So all the gratitude & thanks in the world for that!!! Also I am a regular customer with airshot & I purchased the small airshot version of the true/real fire set & my students found the variety of shapes & curves to be particularly when doing the teeth in skulls. Sometimes cotton buds aren't big enough or they're to big & haven't got the right shape. Any way I hope airshot is listening, there is a bit of free advertising.... Maybe they will give me a discount on my next order ...... Lol😄 I've seen a lot of airbrushing videos on utube, & clearly your Chanel sticks out the most as #1 for its content, information, variety, clarity, guidance, ect. You are clearly talented & have a gift Carsten. My students & I look forward too your next session
    Thanks again

    Iwata Eclipse hp-cs with both .5 and .35 needle along with a Badger Sotar 20/20-2-F. I use Custom brand water based for white and black and a mixture of Createx, Wicked, Bloodline, AutoBorne, Badger and Comair for everything else. I mainly paint fishing lures but have been playing with images on printer paper just for practice

    I used a IWATA eclipse SB, micron SB & a neo just to lay down my base! As for my paint arsenal .... I've had a couple of goes at this particular stencil, the first time I used liquitex & art spectrum..... The art work come up great on canvas but as for automotive it didn't have the pop I was looking for!!!! My second attempt I used createx colours & they clearly provided the pop I was looking for in both the canvas & automotive applications! Once cleared my artwork went to another level again, having said that don't discard the cheaper brands totally,..... Liquitex/art spectrum are a good/great paint for the beginner to start with & refine they're skills with! Always look forward to your posts & art work Carsten ! I teach disabled kids how to airbrush & use your utube channel to help me . The kids really enjoy your channel so thanks for making a difference in these kids lives👏👏👏

    Hello Oz watched your talent i’m saving this one too, I have a lot of your artwork as reference, I use leftover PPG paint put into smaller containers for later use couple of friends stop bye they had chips on The front of their frame, prepped the chips made a twinkle stencil for those chips mixed lighter paint then what was on the bike afterwords no more chips has a twinkle in its place Center of the chip actually gives it highlights My way of hiding chips in paint I used a patchy air brush. I have a 8 ounce detail gun, an 3-spray guns 2- Devilbiss one sharp an 1HVLP spraygun in-line Water separator miles of hose 2- airbrush compressor’s and one electric 25 gallon compressor, working on my hot rod and use it as a canvas to practice on.🕶 P. • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 5 lety

      I believe cerakote is equivalent to ceramic clear and if so then yes you most certainly can , you may need to use an adhesion promoter as well as sanding the surface as Ceramic coating dries extremely ‘rock hard’

    Hi Ya! How you doing C :) Great piece, but hey, you painted the edges and left that out, did you spray them dark and blend them in? So what will you do with this piece, is it an example panel for potential customers or a mother in law present :) Well over here Im stuck with Createx since Trident seem reluctant to market their stuff here for some reason. I would love to try it, especially if its cheaper. I use a 0.18 micron for detail and a .35 for big bits. Have you looked into lumilor? Light up paint basically, complicated system and expensive but has cool potentials. Been generating some nice automotive examples but struggling to get paying work, seems like marketing is the answer and thats where my creative brain shuts down! Best Regards Phil

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 5 lety

      Thanks for your message Phil and all is well here hope you are doing just as well .. I did end up spraying black around the edge of the canvas, don’t like continuing the art on the edges as it tends to make it look like a cheaper ‘printed’ canvas.
      You can get Trident to ship internationally, visit dna-paints.com I have also listed it all in the video description if you are still having issues then feel free to email me airbrushasylum@me.com and I can put you in touch with them 👍🏻
