    Fantastic artistry as always. It never ceases to amaze me your vision for the finished product. Sometimes like the white on the right hand I thought you nailed it, then you come back with a fleshy tone and I’m like “oh no you’ve stuffed it lol”. Knowing full well it’ll come together,but I’m still amazed non the less. I’ve been on a binge since I found your channel must have watched more than a dozen vids last 2 weeks and subbed. Thank you for sharing. Maybe I’ll have a go one day. Andrew👍🏻

    your comment, paint what you see.. That is so important and I have to keep reminding myself that.. I had an Instructor once say " paint what you see , not what you think you see" it is so very simple of a statement but so difficult to achieve' thank you for reinforcing that.

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 6 lety +2

      You need to correctly use the double action technique...ie keep the air pressed down continuously and controlling your paint flow with the trigger....do not get in the habit of using the airbrush like a spray can 👍🏼

    I have a million questions but can ask for a couple of advice ... 1 does the charcoal pencil a certain kind would it react with the clear coat or base coat ... And do you know any book or where I can get some knowledge on color tones and color mixing and color layering ...

  • @PENFOLD1962
    @PENFOLD1962 Před 4 lety

    Apologies if these are stupid questions! I'm very new to Airbrushing I'm still waiting on my Airbrush to be in stock and trying to improve my budget for the compressor etc.
    Do you enlarge the reference to see every detail etc? Could I practice with Artist Grade Acrylic paints? Would it matter if I just used distilled water to practice with?
    LOVING YOUR VIDEOS, THUMBS-UP ALL DAY LONG 👍😉👍

      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 6 lety

      Thanks appreciate the comment, yes 1-2 years could be considered old ...but I have paint which is older in my cabinet and when stored well it tends to last longer than that. 👍🏼

      Bruce Kirk if you don’t get any luck with those suggestions also check the tip on the needle is perfect , use a cotton bud if it catches then the tips not perfect ., don’t quote me on this but I fixed mine with some very fine 3000 grit wet and dry paper by laying it flat on the paper and very very very lightly spinning the tip on it, obviously making sure it was keeping super sharp , hope that helps 👍

    hi what psi? about 20- 25?

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 6 lety +1

      On this one around 20-25psi but when I use the micron I can also turn down the pressure using the Mac valve when doing real fine detail and over thinning the paint, it is equivalent to approx 5-10psi hope that helps 👍🏼
