It was like walking on the moon. An amazing place. No friendly doggies, just the ponies a far off. Did see a mountain hare though. Thanks for watching. Atb
Stennerskkeugh clouds, according to the 2024 OS map is within the Yorkshire Dales National Park boundary by approx 6.4 kms, the nearest boundary being at Nateby. The quarry where I parked is at the foot of Harter Fell, admittedly in the northeastern corner of the Howgills.
One of your best, great channel keep up the good work.

Looks mint Peter, boulder fields have something magical about them.
That massive sloping pavement was amazing to see. Thanks for watching. Atb
Looks a great rocky landscape up there...no doubt you will be camping up there soon.
Superb place to be. Easy to park down near the quarry. Cheers mate. Atb
