Yeah I deserved that breakfast. Only had a coffee and a small snack bar for breakfast at 05:00. I’ll by up Wild boar fell for a wild camp this week. Thanks for watching. UP

Very good! That tent looks cosy. It is a a bog fest up there😊

Only weighs 1 kg and goes up in 5 mins. Better view of it on my wild boar camp. It was similar route to your Dodd fell one only reversed. Was boggy in places but lots of the heavy going tussocky grass. That ankle breaking stuff. Atb

They ought to make a solid inner. It is a nice and compact setup. All the best.

The bath tub is good. If it’s too solid and less mesh you get condensation? It’s so easy to pitch though. Thanks for you comment.

Great trip out for you. Great to be out in the fresh air. Best wishes on the next.

Great review thanks. I've also got the T1 and footprint. Just to let you know that when I visited the Alpkit Inverness shop they were selling the T2 inner, which the assistant said wasn't available online for sale. I bought it and used one of my £20 voucher's too. I've yet to try it out.

I love the weight of this tent , less than a kg without pegs. So easy to pitch in 5 mins. Hope to get on the Yorkshire hill fri/sat. Looks like there’s a small weather window. Atb

It's a good route that UP, though of the two Dales 30s featured here I much preferred Drumaldrace. I thought Dodd Fell might've dried out significantly for you but obviously not! ATB pal, Chris

Was a bit drier than I expected but a minefield of uneven ground. Next trip is my last two 30s next. Swarth and Wild boar. I may have done Swarth when I was 16, but it’s that far back I can’t bloody remember 🤣. Cheers mate looking forward to your next. Atb UP.

I’ve watched quite a few of your videos now.
How do you find the tarpstar 1 can’t decide between that or a lanshan 1 plus 🤔

I think they are both good. The T1 is super easy to pitch and loads of space. I will put a review before too long. That said the tie out tags for the inner look a little frail. One of them has a slight tear which I am having repaired. If you got one I’d have those beefed up a little. Still at the price I love it. Less that a kilo without pegs. It truly is lightweight, spacious vestibule an quite roomy sleeping compartment. I love the fact that you can put the inner up an clip the outer to the inner apex which stops it blowing away while you position and peg the outer. Going forward they could do with mid height guy out points and a small vent. Still, I have had the tent in 30 mph and it is solid. All lightweight tents flap don’t they, I’ll do a full review when the repair is done. For the money though I still like it. Watch this space!
