NOTE: We paid using a debit card, so typical charge back wasn't an option. Bank may have worked with us but we hadn't gotten to that point yet. Jackie now has no problem closing the door on sales people after this experience :)

Thanks fro bringing this to people's attention. I fell victim to an on-line scam where they sell an item at a reasonable price but they never delivered. They provide a fake delivery notice with a fake picture. Anyway, after enough digging I finally got a refund. lol

Sold my mountain bike after wiping out a couple times… was a few months after a clavicle surgery where I got 10 screws and a plate put in after a motorcycle wreck. Glad you’re ok man!

Bromigo be thankful that's as far as it went, could have been far worse especially in this day and age of home invasions. Invest in a good comms system and doorbell camera that way your wife would never need to open the door to a stranger and keep a secured weapon where she can access it in an emergency to protect your litte ones. All great points! We do have ring doorbell/security cameras. And we've had the talk with the kids about NOT answering the door. Lol. Live and learn.
A shady "solar panel" company showed up at my door once. This guy and girl was really pushy and finally took no for an answer. Once I pointed to my ring camera and said "since you are refusing to leave, I'm treaspassing you now". They started to leave and I head inside. Once I got inside, I saw the lady looking underneath my truck. At that point I just grabbed my shotgun and walked outside. I knew if I didn't do that, they would be coming later on to hacksaw the cats off my truck. They hauled ass and never came back to my property. After speaking to several people in my neighboor it became obvious they were scouting vehicles to cut cats off of. To my knowledge, no one in my neighborhood was hit. It's a crazy world we live in now.

I just had someone show up last week using the same exact tactic. Bad freezer and three boxes of meat and he had to sell it now.
I was able to get rid of him quicly. Funny that your video dropped so soon after.
A couple of points
Get a big barking kiddie-friendly dawg; door-to-door people leave immediately.
Secondly: Always put questionable purchases on a CC, NEVER on a debit card. You can immediately call your bank, disputing the purchase due to poor product quality.

@@JonsMotoGarage I ask my Bank last year if it covered fraud with a debit card and they said yes. I don't use a debit card so I don't know for sure
