- In continuation of my "Short Takes" video series at All City Auto, I give a tour of a 2004 Cadillac Escalade. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this siv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I know this may sound crazy but this is my favorite generation Escalade. It had saved my brothers life in an accident. I know it may be cheap on the interior and sluggish acceleration but I think the Escalade from 02-06 have a personality. Anyone agree with me?

@James Hackman .... Yes, this generation of Escalade was very fast and agile for it's size.... I've owned an 04 and a 02 before... Both were very smooth and comfortable to drive as a Cadillac should be... but also fast and nibble for a large SUV...🔥🔥🔥

+Patrick Molzen This is the best era of the Escalades, by far. In fact I really don't like ANY of the modern Cadillac sedans at all. Mechanically-speaking, they are wonderful, but they all look like Cadillac is trying WAY too hard to be modern and cutting edge.

Escalades are awesome! My dad had one from this generation back then, but I think the newer generation ones have much improved interiors. After the first Escalade we had, we have always got the ESV now. Currently we have the 2010 ESV. It has all the standard options, as well as a heated steering wheel, navigation, and ventilated seats in additon to the standard heated seats.

I love these Cadillac seats. They are so comfortable!
The cited "microphone" is actually the climate control aspirator. It pulls in air with a little fan, over a sensor to read the ambient temperature inside the car and adjust the climate control.

I think 2007 was the best generation of Escalade in spite of newly updated technology, like a rear-view camera and 403 horsepower, and power running boards.

Nice car I want one I have a 6.0 but loves to drink some gas it's a 2500 great motor for towing low end torque and great sounding motor would never get rid of it I like them motors better than new one and sounds better to the 6.0

i have the 2006 model 6.0L Vortec..badass suv although the gas is killer in it but overall it is a decent vehicle

BUICK GS-77 I used to drive a 2003 model. I’ll tell you right now. Every time I left the gas station I watched the gas needle drop towards E I never got good gas and mine didn’t have working A/C so I was stuck driving it until one day it died on me.
