In today's video, we'll be having some fun with our newest acquisition, a wrecked 2004 Cadillac Escalade! My wife and I bought this thing for parts, mainly to have an extra LS powertrain lying around for an upcoming project. In addition to the many parts we're able to use, there's also a lot of opportunity to make additional revenue via selling all of the unused parts that this has to offer! First and foremost, we need to see if we can get the Escalade running. Although it passed my "visual" inspection, we had no way to fire it up at the time of purchase due to the accident's resulting damage. It was definitely a gamble, but the opportunity was too good to pass up! I hope you all enjoy the video!

Shame it’s getting parted out but the way it looks it probably has severe frame damage so it’s probably better. And there’s so many great parts that are gonna help out other Escalade owners as well. Interestingly I’ve never seen that generation of Escalade over here in Germany. I’ve seen a few newer ones but never this one. Recently someone who owned a Tahoe here also got in a wreck and now it’s totaled due to how expensive parts are to ship over here. Always a shame for these cars.

Love it! Definitely could be saved

  • @theramquest4advanture.

Could make a dune buggy out of it and drive it around your farm. I have an old parts van that I do that but now I don't want to use the thing for parts just cool to drive it like a big go cart. Anyways cool video and will keep watching, so keep up the good work.

It's supposed to be our future "shop truck" for K & J Design and Autoworx, but it needs some engine and cosmetic work. It's a possibility for the future, but not at the moment.

Not sure, it might not have triggered the sensor because the impact was focused on the driver side

It's not bad, but it's not perfect either, sadly it's worth more in parts than it is if it were fixed. Dash is destroyed, lots of stuff is broken from the accident.
