I know here is some tips from me 1. Good gpm. 2. No hard water if your waters hard get a small filter. 3. Good soap. 4 maintain your foam cannon blow it out with compressed air. 5 for the best foam get a good foam cannon like a Mtm pf22 my fav.
Love your normal videos (best detailing channel imho) but I avoid these shorts - just watched this and I remembered why I just watch your long videos - carry on John……. Just for longer!
The real art to thick snowfoam is proper cannon. It almost doesn't matter what dilution you use if you have a good cannon like the MJJC, it's as thick as you want it. And yes, warm water with snowfoam.
Hi John can you recommend a snow foam that I can get good results from that's not too expensive. I use the BH after your recommendation and I love it on my car and the Mrs car but when kids come round and then their partners want to use it, it's too expensive.
I dont think the foaming level is that critical. I think its the materials used in the foam. I think its important to put the foam onto a dry dirt film. Its important not to let the snow dry. The concentration of the foam can be important too. everyone likes nice foam though including me.
@@ForensicDetailing I’ve always liked thick foam myself, it looks good and gets the neighbourhood curtains twitching, but I’ve always been dubious of it’s actually cleaning power. But I guess that’s just down to preference to a certain brand. I’ve always stuck with polar blast as it’s often on sale in my local Halfords or amazon.
can get to a point where the foam can become like a dry foam and it wont soak out a film so much. you risk that more with a pump sprayer than a foam lance though, in a foam lance its hard for them to become too dry.
I tried bh this weekend with 100ml to 900ml of water and even fully turned up was watery. Will try 200ml to 800ml of water. If you can try before me, let me know how it comes out.
So, what are the tips?

Recommend replacing your orffice on the foam cannon to a 1.1 some already have it like the mjjc 3 foam cannon that’s a very good foam cannon

Holy fck this my new obsession thick snow foam 🥵
Warm water is the best tip I’ll give anyone
Not necessarily some prewash don't work properly with warm water.
@@jordanjjn Pan the Organiser mentioned BH recommend cold water.
Ha made me chuckle .....

What mix ratio was this ?

Makes my BH Touchless (original formula) look like water LOL
That’s way thicker than my autoglym. What won is that Jon? I heard mixing it with warm water helps!
Autobrite Magifoam
Surfex mixed with regular snowfoam is better than anything else out there. Or Tfr mixed with snowfoam.

BH is pretty cheap mate. But if you want mega cheap. Bonnymans blizzard snow foam. buy some other bits to migitgate the high delivery cost.
@@ForensicDetailing I did look at them but it had a £30 delivery fee 🙄
For the price, Megs Hyperwash is pretty decent. Not as good as the top brands but not as expensive either.
So how long do you leave it before rinsing. I used the Demon foam and it pretty much looked like that.
How foamy something is has no bearing on its ability to clean.
@@ForensicDetailing Okay thanks. First time I've used it. And didn't read instructions as ya do.🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did you put it on the paint dry?
Y
Are you using deionized water with that foam?
No m8 no one does that to foam.. maybe to rinse
@ForensicDetailing Numerous people living in areas with hard water use deionized water. The minerals in hard water greatly diminishes foam foaming.
In your opinion is thick snow foam better or is it all down to the brand and it’s cleaning power.

can foam be to thick that it doesn't run off and pull off dirt ?
