CAPPA Urges Govt To Prioritise Access To Public Water Amid Cholera Outbreak

  • According to The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) there have been over 1,141 suspected cholera cases recorded across 30 states in Nigeria since the 1st of January 2024.
    Cholera which is a highly contagious and water borne disease has claimed the lives of several persons.
    In Lagos, no fewer than 24 persons have died with over 400 new infections.
    Ogun state has also recorded its first death from the cholera outbreak with five persons hospitalized
