Brilliant guest, Mr.Emmanuel. Well done
Honestly he is Very brilliant
I agree. He knows what he is saying. I totally know and understand all that he has said. I like it when brilliant people disect matters😊.
Imagine having this man Emmanuel as our Petroleum minister that would have been great

This Economist guy sabi book abeg. Nice one bro
If the richest man in Africa, who is a Nigerian and pays 10% of everything he earns to Nigeria, is being sabotaged by Nigeria, then you know that Nigeria has a BIG PROBLEM!
Such an impressively knowledgeable professional. Imagine someone like this as minister for petroleum. Just imagine.
I was just thinking the same thing here
There are many capable Nigerians that can turn around the fortunes of this nation in 5yrs. They are everywhere, at home and in the diaspora. But the faulty leadership recruitment system does not give them any chance. Mediocres and low quality individuals will continue to be thrown into leadership positions as far as the status quo as per our leadership recruitment system remains unchanged.
@@obehiokojie4066 you said it all
Young and brilliant people we need as ministers
Many Nigerians will not like him to be a minister because they will complain about his reforms which they may not be able to cope with..
Many lazy Nigerians prefer status quo to efficient reforms
I didn't regret watching this interview. Thanks so much for the enlightenment kelvin.
Likewise me too
Good analysis
It is only in a place like Nigeria that a government regulator will publicly discredit its biggest client and one of Africa's biggest infrastructural investments
Honestly!!!! So shocking!!
Now we know the people killing this nation
Its very foolish to kill a business that pays a lot of taxes. Government indirectly own a share of every company in the country.
Ah⁉️....na waoooo.... SmH....
And you wonder why an external investor will invest in the country.
This interview was much needed. We now know who the devil is.

We have ALWAYS KNOWN!?!!
All we needed was public disclosure or announcement 😂😂😂
Honestly!

A very intelligent young man. He is correct, i believe Dangote more than NNPCL or whatever its beeing called.
Yes my neighbor about 8yrs ago..his very intelligent
Correct ✅
That’s why they don’t want restructuring, and they don’t want separation. A few group of people are milking this country dry, while the masses suffer.
So right & so sad.
These people they are one stealing Nigerian crude oil. I believed what they are exporting is more than 3 million barrel claiming Nigeria is producing 1.3 million barrel may God expose all of them criminals.
And you think Dangote is here as a Savior?
@@haggaiovwenkekpereyou are among the few bad
@@haggaiovwenkekpere
Dangote may not be the saviour.....but he has achieved in few years what your governments can not do in decades.
I am extremely happy for Dangote that he opted to and built a new refinery from scratch to finish. It is best for him to manage and control than buying dead refineries to resurrect. The same corrupt reasons why the government refineries have failed to be resurrected, is the same reason they are now trying to sabotage Dangote's operations.
This guy is well read and knows what he is talking about. Kudos
Tinubu is not serious. They are looking for investors yet they are trying so hard to destroy a $20b investment
Criminals are in power…
don’t expect good governance☝🏽
Aswear.. you're trying to attract foreign investors when you can't even protect your own local investors
He is a crook. What do you expect from a drug lord?. Have you seen any drug lord do things for the betterment of the masses?. They are always selfish and wicked.
Tinubu is involved in the importation of bad fuell to Nogeria from their hidden plant in Malta! That company is not a refinary per si, but a mixing plant which buys low-quality fuels from big companies and mix it with products to improve their quality a little bit and afyer that sent it to Nigeria! His nephew Willie Tinubu is the one running it!
May God continue to protect and bless Alhaji Aliko Dangote and shame the plot by the regulators, NNPC and the Federal Govt
Ameen
God has already excessively blessed him. His problem is Nigeria. In addition, the North needs to learn to support those who are honest and business minded not always placing religion at the top
They bought INEC and Judges and they bought the Presidential seat For Tinubu, so Tinubu is inside cage.

Mr. Emmanuel is a smart analyst who exceptionally knows his onions. Great job, Emma. Great guest, Arise TV.
One of the best 45 mins of news ive ever watched. Kelvin Emmanuel is very knowledgeable about the subject and paints a very clear picture of whats underneath the skirts of NNPCL and this administrations Regulatory executives - it reflects a lack of professionalism from the nigerian government! A govt that has no idea what "national priority" is... i pray God helps Dangote through this. This can no longer be business as usual
At this point now I think we Nigerians should go out protest
Why are they frustrating Dangote. We are with you Dangote. Sensible Nigerian are with you
Very, sorry for Nigeria... It's a shame for those who are trying to neglect the efforts of this great Man(A. Dangote).
When Dangote said in Kigali that he is also building a National Strategic reserve capacity for Nigeria, I was happy, apparently, the government doesn't want none of it. NNPC released a statement recently saying that Dangote refinery is no longer part of their future investment plans. The petrol regulator said that they are producing shitty products, how can they export their products if his home country is saying all these horrible things about him. Weird.
Landmark events centre incident playing all over again. Which politician is interested in Dangote refinery? In the case of Landmark, it was clear, the president's business associates wanted the land,. Does Gilbert Chagory wants the Dangote refinery as well?
Dangote looks very tired of Nigeria.
Stopping comparing apples and oranges.

Dangote is now regretting his support for Tinubu in the last election. Tinubu never had a master plan for Nigeria moving forward, just to enrich his men. We all should learn from this, what is bad is bad.
Kelvin Emmanuel, great guy. Great interview. Young tough and smart. The Kind of mind we need in leadership roles in this country.
This economist talks better than some petroleum engineers.
Yes, the Guy knows his trade
I think you are wrong. You mean a chemical engineer, not a petroleum engineer.
Also, he has not said anything technical but petroleum economics.
Am telling you
The guy is sound
True
My maximum respect for this Economist with his detailed empirical analysis. It is shameful that we cannot even manage ourselves. No matter what Dangote supposed to be applauded and encouraged. Corruption will kill Nigeria one day!
Well done Arise team. Brilliant Mr Emmanuel. I learnt a lot
Excellent guest and higly knowledgeable in his thought
This is the best work Arise has done for Nigerians, the irony is the northerners are trying to sabotage one of their own
It is not only northerners behind Nigeria's sabotage, but we need to fish those people out because they are holding this country to ransom. Don't be surprised that there could be some foreign powers backing them. At the point , government has no business managing refineries. These could be managed by private individuals who have the capacity and have no alignment with God fathers or political aligence .
The cabal is not a northern or southern thing Its filled with corrupt nigerians with their international collaborators, as the Dangote refinery will in the long run wipe of the oligarchs involved in the oil importation business into Nigeria
I disagree it's Tinubu's government
To the elites it’s all about money, power and influence adopting divide and conquer using religion, tribes and regions 😂
Ethnicity is a nonfactor when it comes to corruption and economic sabotaging.
Thanks to The economist Kevin Emmanuel and the news crews great enlightenment 🇳🇬✅👍
Kevin, simply a clean and brave brain. God bless you my brother!
You won’t believe how much information and knowledge I got from watching this …complete break down of the situation btwn FG and dangote and also the nitty gritty on petroleum product regulations…Thank you Sir
May the Good Lord grant Aliko Dangote long life in good health. This people never saw it coming that a Nigerian can actually make this work, and it seems to be threatening their source of loot. That NMDPRA's chairman should be investigated.
Spot on
Very sad that Dangote has to be defending his company after investing so much in this country only for the regulator that ought to protect the investment to be the one recommending importation of petroleum products over local production. Corruption is fighting back but this country will surely overcome. May God continue to protect Dangote
Very unfortunate...... this protest must go on.....
When you listen to an industry expert, there is no mincing of words or stuttering.
Great interview Arise TV and kudos Mr. Emmanuel on your beautiful analysis!
It's nice to see true professionals working in arise TV
From this speech, you could feel that dangote is really bleeding as an entrepreneur. But all I can say to him is that it is well
Actions like this will tell you the real enemies of Nigeria(Politicians)Aliko Dangote is a great man and has done well for himself he is only fighting for the common masses and politicians are choking the process. Anyone who can see through Dangote knows he means well for Nigerians.
I can imagine this Economist guy as a head of NMDPRA or NNPC. We really have a lot of human resource potentials in Nigeria. I pray we get it right one day. Amen
My submission too
This Petroleum Economist is quite sound and knows his onions, I wonder where he has been, so he can Educate us properly, I heard somewhat troubling from he said, that Nigeria has spent about 12 Trillion naira in the past 25 years for turn around maintenance & nothing has changed & we've been quiet. Nigerians we are in a big mess.
He is somewhat of a regular on Arise. Very knowledgeable individual. In the level of Obiareri etc. It vexes me when people make silly comments about Igbos being the problem of Nigeria simply because most refuse to accept the nonesense that has plagued this country for decades. However your average igbo man is very much interested in seeing a country that works for everyone.
Yes, I went there this time.

Quite insightful interview….
Kelvin you handled the questions very nicely and your explanations were really helpful.
The easiest thing I can do is to give up on Nigeria after seeing what someone heading an important agency could stand at the presidential villa and demarket a project that could help us to energy sufficiency and take pressure of our foreign reserve.
NNPCL can't run their own, Nigeria can't build their own, but they're killing this one.
Dangote is stressed out.
I'd rather listen to Dangote speak than listening to our president. I find hope in listening to Dangote than listening to politicians.
Farouk Ahmed should go.

Kelvin Emmanuel did justice to the topic, he provided good insights.
I can listen to this economist for hours unending.
Kudos Mr. Emmanuel!
It is crazy that Nigeria now imports crude oil when the state is said to be under producing our own crude.
Where in the world will kyari remain as head of the NNPC after the disastrous reign of buhari.

They should go and regulate PH and Kaduna refineries. Let DANGOTE breathe
Tinubu is the defacto Minister of petrolatum. He should give account of this disturbing story.
You said it all.
Tinubu is the problem. Partly as a president, but mainly as the disastrous minister in that devilish ministry.
That was how the cabals convinced Ya'Adua to cancel the privatisation of the government owned refineries. If he didn't do that, all these importation issues should have been a forgotten issue.

@@olaadams01You can not be so sure about what you just wrote.... you are looking at wickedness/incompetence, choose to blame the policy of someone no more in power... and would never come back,so,why don't we get on with our lives,by making good policies....
@MaggieIgoni
Which part are you referring to?
That Tinubu is not the minister of Petroleum?
Or that Refineries were not privatised and taken back by the government during Ya'Aduas administration?
You can tell us the truth then.
I guess the mention of Ya'Adua (who I respect so much) is what you are referring to. So, we should not talk about him or what he did? Or how is what I said happened during his admission a problem. I just stated the fact. This is because our problem is not ending; this same Dangote bought PH refinery back then during OBJ, but was reversed during YA.
Or have I abused him by stating the fact?
Dangote looks stressed and frustrated because of some selfish people in power
