Thank you for this! One question though, how do you judge that the final approach for the RNVA approach is short or long? (As in how do you know when you can use APP (IAN) or just LNAV/VNAV instead, is it mentioned in the charts?

If the plane is equipped with IAN then I prefer IAN, otherwise I use LANV/VNAV. In order to practice flying the approaches and landings I disengage the autopilot and do it myself. Have a nice day.
