I was heavy into it as a teenager until the Holy Spirit started opening my eyes to the falseness of it all. I think for me, I felt a sense of some sort of identity or self-knowledge about myself or others. But when you start to study, many authors will tell you so many conflicting information. And the most important thing, I found it foolishness to prejudge people based off their birth date! God is way bigger than that. When you get off into birth charting and astrology readings, you are leaning on another source or idol for knowledge and the Holy Spirit is not in that! He will give you the understanding that you need, tell you who to have in your circle, which job you should choose, and what He wants to prune or uproot off of you so that your character reflects Jesus Christ more and more. Satan is the ultimate identity thief so anything outside of the Word of God that will try to tell us who we are, should be researched and questioned before we try to attach ourselves to it.
Totally agree. I was humbly delivered from Astrology, witchcraft and ex-mystic. Zodiac signs are a deception tactic of the enemy. The Holy Spirit is simple. 2 Corinthians 11:1-3 (KJV)

Isiah 48:13:14 is completely misunderstood. It doesn’t say that the astrologers, stargazers will be as stubble. It’s referencing that the sinners will stubble. It clearly states Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up and save thee from the things that shall come upon thee. Meaning that they will predict the coming judgements or revelations. To warn you of what’s to come. It doesn’t say that being an astrologer is a sin. This is a totally false interpretation.
The heavenly bodies do not hold or grab our life. They are just hint and guidance in our daily living... 😇

No, not at all. God made dogs and we don't worship them.
God himself is very much enough to guide you and feel you with wisdom to choose your favorite colours and built your personality even when you don't have. Its not debate but we are helping each other to make the right choices. Ultimately we all desire to be in heaven and live with God for ever

I've studied astrology and not once did I get an impression that we should worship the stars as a divination thing, nor the fact are they any kind of God's or that they change my fate or "destiny"
I've always got the impression that the stars were moreso "Tools" than anything. Like the moon has its own energy frequencies and impacts Tidal waves of the ocean, so to do the stars (imo), but that doesn't mean I get on my knees and start worshiping them.
Stars are just like our sun and emit vast amounts of energy, and I believe that energy can influence us and our personalities perhaps. Maybe God uses the stars as instruments to shape and mold us as strictly unique, there are after all, quadrillions of stars, like a tool to shape us. Thoughts?
I think it’s not based in Truth, like tarot cards and other divination tools they can give us what seems like insight but it’s the wisdom of man and not God. Worshiping could be understood as living your like by it as opposed to the word o God as revealed in the Bible.
All that isn’t in Truth will be destroyed.
I never really studied Astrology but definitely engaged with those who used it but it’s only recently that I’m coming to see it as a deception that is very much tied in to the new age which also rejects any objective Truth for our own subjective one.
I’ve always wondered things like that. Like, maybe we’re all partly correct. Maybe God created the universe through the Big Bang. Maybe that’s what he meant by “let there be light”

Astrology originates from the Persians, way more than 2000 years, maybe uts not all true but there has to be SOME truth to it, especially to last such a long time as it did. I never got into it heavy. Before the bible taught me that it wasn't real common sense taught me. How can you describe how someone is going to be by a sign? How can it describe one's destiny like this video says? Because I'm born in this period of time I'm automatically bad for this or that person? Or I'll never amount to certain things that others do amount to? It doesn't add up and the bible explains why

It's all part of the myth as Saturn was an agricultural god and is closely associated with Earth. Noah means the Earth at Rest, as it was thought that Earth was the unmoving center of the universe. The 12 tribes is nothing more than the division of the solar year into 12 signs/months.

I think the danger is when you get into divination/prediction. And change your actions according to that. And it can be unconscious. So that's playing God. Following a false idol's plan. If you can use it to understand God's world (and know yourself to maximize your potential to follow God) I don't think it's bad. But it's hard.

All 4 gospels represent the 4 elements. Earth, air, fire, water. The bible has been translated into 3500 different languages. It's only going to make true sense if you know astrology. Actually, they are not. Was into it before I became a Christian. Never was accurate. Anything outside is false and falls short. That's why when the Holy Spirit convicted me I was a summer on the way to hell and that I needed to place my faith in God's son Jesus for salvation I quickly dropped all that rubbish.

That's implying that you may have Taurus traits. There's other things as well as far as the birth chart & with that they get into all types of things. All in all the bible doesn't teach believers in Christ to look into these things at all. It doesn't give instructions, teachings, or insights. In fact it says these practices are abominations. HOWEVER I am wondering if there are elements of it that are permissible, with God's guidence. Because at least the natal astrology does seem to be true at times.

I'm fascinated by the stars and how astrology ties into religion as well as the symbolism in our world... It's everywhere! Ok, for example; Have you ever seen Jesus depicted with a triangular halo? Also, Jesus depicted on the cross is always in the same position - head off to one side and down etc... Look at the shape of the constellation Cygnus, the head of which is one corner of the summer triangle. It may also explain why angels have white feathery wings (possibly a metaphoric reference to this). Deneb, the brightest star in Cygnus or the 'head' of Jesus in this case has the highest xray radiation measured of any other known star. 🤔
Jesus had 12 deciples (the 12 signs of the zodiac and as you pointed out, Judah represented by Leo). I have also noticed that symbols representing countries also tie in with astrology. America being the eagle (Aquilla), England being the lion (Leo), Scotland the unicorn (Monoceros), Russia the bear (Ursa Major), Wales the Dragon (Draco) and as if to prove it, Ireland is a harp (Lyra).
I had a deeply spiritual experience a couple of years ago which showed me all of this and i'm really trying to figure it out and share my findings. It is imperative to mankind! I believe we are now in the times of revelation and the first trumpet has sounded. Look at EVERYTHING going on in the world at the moment and the symbols and numbers that go with it all and tell me i am wrong.

The zodiac is used throughout the bible. Take a look at Isaiah 9.14-15, where Israel (summer) is depicted as the four constellations of Leo thru Scorpio. The noble/royal one is the lion and the liar is the scorpion. These same four constellations are the sons of Ham. Leo = Leo/Fire, Virgo = Vesta/Earth, Libra = Juno/Air, and Scorpio = Neptune/Water.
This leaves winter as Sagittarius-Pisces, and spring as Aries-Cancer. The same element order is maintained.
You are reading something into the scriptures that is not there. Those zodiac signs came from the Romans and prior to them, the Greeks. When Isaiah was written, those terms and concepts did not exist. I used to teach astrology before I was a Christian and am appalled that Christians think anything like this is in the Bible.

Isaiah 9.14-15, is extremely simple to understand and only requires a basic understanding of the zodiac. Although astrology is useless to science, the zodiac is found throughout the bible. In Rev 9.5, we have the scorpion as the leader of the five months (winter) that can harm man. Locusts and flies are commonly associated with Scorpio.

I've always wondered why God made Pisces most unfortunate zodiac sign. This has been my issues over my life that ALL Pisces: physical and verbal abuse, being hated for no reason, being told you aren't good enough even though you are putting your blood, sweat, and tears into all of your work (and at the same time being too lazy, mousy, gullible, airheaded, spacey, I've heard it all), being made fun of and insulted for just about everything, being treated unfairly, being judged for God knows WHATEVER reason, being chastised for something that all other signs get away with, having to watch everyone else of other signs being praised and favored because God loved them more, and having depression and anxiety, awful childhoods with a psychotic mother who ridiculed their kids non-stop and screaming at them from the top of their paycho lungs...and it doesn't stop there! But some people in the world and also the most Christians are confused about this topic, and they mixing all together and can’t separate astrology from fortune telling, so they invent new sins, but don’t clean their hearts from envy, jealousy, pride and arrogance. Only humans or evil spirits can make Astrology sinful like many things that God created. But don’t use Wrestlern Astrology and do not use tropical Astrology cause it’s not accurate.
How can you simply describe the difference between the 2?
Wise men saw the star and used it as a means of traveling to a destination to the Savior. They did not in no way worship the star or try to pin point characteristics of Jesus based on that star or when he was born like a horoscope. In fact, the prophets already were describing the Savior and what to expect of Him when He was to come, long before a star was used to confirm His whereabouts.
The Bible describes sin as well and how we fall. Just because someone in the Bible does something doesn't make it right.

Horoscopes and the zodiac are not real, and gives out false information...
1. The stars in a constellation are sometimes thousands of light-years apart and the connection between them is arbitrary.
2. When you were born your obstetrician had more gravitational effect on you than any planet or star in the universe.
3. There are 13 constellations in the Zodiac (not 12). The 13th is Ophiuchus.
4. The Zodiac was established around 2000 years ago. Since then the Zodiac has shifted one sign along, however the traditional dates for each sign haven't changed. i.e. The Zodiac sign that you were born "under" is meant to be the constellation that the sun was in front-of during your birth. So if you are a Gemini, the chances are that Cancer was actually behind the sun during your birth (due to the 2000 year shift in the Zodiac).
5. The natal planet alignment is futile since the time-of-birth is often arbitrarily chosen (i.e. the doctor/nurses may get the hour right, but not necessarily the minutes).
6. Are all horoscopes done before the discovery of the outermost planets incorrect? Planets get found, demoted and promoted all the time. Pluto was identified and became a planet in 1930. It was demoted to "dwarf planet" in 2006. Ceres was a planet in the 1800s and then demoted to asteroid in the 1850s and has now been promoted to dwarf planet again. Xena was discovered in 2003 and became a planet and in 2006 was demoted to dwarf planet. What's more - Pluto doesn't follow the zodiac path like the other planets (i.e. it will sometimes be in front of non-zodiac constellations.
7. If the planets influence us astrologically why is this influence independent of distance? Mars is sometimes the other side of the sun from us and sometimes it is the same side as us, yet this difference has no astrological effect on us.
8. If distances aren't important in astrology, then where's the astrology of galaxies, quasars, nebulae and black-holes?
9. Why do horoscopes of the same zodiac sign in different newspapers differ so much?
10. Why is the moment of birth, rather than conception, crucial for astrology? Why does a thin layer of flesh and blood protect a baby from the planets/stars/sun/moon...and if not then why do premature babies not have different star-charts than non-prem babies born at the same time on the same day?

As a Christian I dont live by astrology, but theoretically I do find the signs and elements just describing the different personalities of the flesh, thats all. I find virgos, on average, to be more librarian like and critical. However the focus should be on God and Christ. That doesnt mean throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Whenever someone says 'oh i am a libra i am so and so' i say, that is your flesh and i dont deny the existance of the flesh but God made us with heavenly realites and we live by that listening to the HS and therefore we are not subject to our fleshly behaviour when it is negative. Basically in astrology we call “flesh:unevolved” and I guess more “Christ-like:evolved” so we all have good and bad and we have to work towards becoming better, just like the Bible says in order to die to our old selves. Nobody is perfect and we all have our own faults, but signs do not excuse people’s behavior- everyone is just more prone to certain things due to their birth chart/how Christ made them.

He mentioned some passages in the bible, il debunk all his misleading statements abt astrology one by one just for the purpose of enlightening him. 2nd king 17 vs 16 says the people made molten images and worshipped both the images and the stars. Astrology does not worship the stars, its a science not a religion ( pls research and confirm ), anyone who worships the stars is not practicing astrology, such a person is practicing religion or syncretism. He also mentioned james 1 vs 5, the verse says wisdom comes from God not the stars ,, obviously astrology does not promise to make u any wiser it only promises to interpret Gods work written in the stars, similar to the way the 3 wise men interpreted Gods work written in the stars. Sorry to say this, but you're building your case against astrology on a false premise : you say "astrology is the "interpretation" of an assumed influence of the stars (and planets) exert on human destiny". That statement has to come from a "bad" book on astrology. These celestial bodies don't have any influence on us (except for the Moon, of course, because it is so close to the Earth), nor must they be seen as any divine entities that should be worshipped. In fact, they are only signs of things, events, that are happening anyway, they are a language that one can learn to read. That language is not outside God's will or realm, it is a part of it.

I used to be a Christian so it was appropriate for me to look into Christianity. For example=
Christianity= sun
Judaism/islam= moon worship
Few examples, but it's fascinating how the flag of Islam is a half moon. Many can't give a direct answer as to why there's a half moon in the flag, unless you know that the religion of Judaism and Islam is nothing but moon worship. It took me a while to wrap my head around the teachings of Astro theology but once you get it, it's pretty exhilarating.
