I'm convinced Finland will win and I will be so happy if it does. I was also impressed by Israel and Serbia here. I think they need to adjust Loreen's staging somehow - something feels off. It had so much potential but it's not making me feel much.

Latvia is going minimal and artistic which stands out in this semi - I hope it works for them.

Finland is a runaway leader from semi final one imo, and that’s coming from a Loreen lover!
Unless they somehow do some magic with the cameras and make Loreens staging seems bigger and better than what we've seen, I think her chances of winning will drop. The song is still great and Loreen is amazing, but the staging really gave the song that extra boost. Finland took a good staging and seemingly made it better. Might be enough to win.

Yep I have the same thoughts. And I feel a bit bad for her to be honest. It's like this performance just topped in MF and feels very underwhelming now compared to that. I think her chances to win now are very low. Im even thinking that Sweden will be 3rd to 5th in the final just basing on the song and her performance. Not the staging.
I've saying this whole time that Loreens song is very midiocre, my opinion, without that staging and beeing Loreen-before-winner (i don't know how to say it).

I love the entry but having to change the key tone has imo unfortunately impacted the song. Having said that much respect to both of them having to deal with all the criticism. For me this is the entry with one of the best lyrics this year, well written and lyrics that make sense and the stage looks very classy but I do think this will struggle to qualify. Big shame as I've been a big fan of the Netherlands entries for years but I do hope we will see something different music wise next year.
In Melfest, Loreen looked like a mythical giant goddess holding the world with her arms....In Liverpool, she looks like a miniature Liliput person trying to get out of the candy box.....😬 Not a good look 🥴

The Netherlands song doesn't need fire or colour. That doesn't fit the song lol. They did exactly what fit their song but it's very obvious you don't like the song.
I really like all the performances, but I feel like the camera-work isn't doing them justice. It could be because the UK generally doesn't watch Eurovision and consequently doesn't understand Eurovision camera-work as much as the Netherlands or Israel, but I hope that the Liverpool crew will adjust a lot of the workings. I was really impressed by Serbia, Switzerland, and Finland though!

The braids on Czechia are actually what's ties it together methink. The weight, length, and how they hold it is akin to chains, which when combined to the almost bare bones blood pink clothes shows how conquest repress people into one identity.
This and Croatia's satyrical outfit really makes Switzerland's...mesh kpop shirt pales in message.

I think there isn't enough appreciation for Mia and Dion from the Netherlands. The way they came back after the problems at the pre-parties and all the hatred they got from people in the Netherlands but also from al over the world. Look at them now, they are shinning and it looks great!

People keep saying about Sweden "People won't know the box is smaller and not as grande as in Mello" as if it won't make a difference. But smaller or bigger, the whole staging of this is just lackluster and I am SERIOUSLY starting to doubt that she will win the juries.... Not with that performance.

Sweden was my number one. After the rehearsal I'm shocked. The stage looks like a light version of Melodivestivalen. Now I'm rooting for Finland instead. Finland has an upgrade of the staging from umk how it should be

@@christime6536 I agree. Finland's staging dropped my jaw; I wasn't expecting it in any way and it elevated the song so well. Loreen on the other hand seems a bit,, claustrophobic. Her new stage is a lot smaller, and I feel like Sweden has better camera-work than the UK. Then again, these are the second rehearsals, so the camera crew will likely adjust a lot of things in time for the semi-finals.

I have to say that this Swedish mini "box/display" looks a bit strange and you can't really tell that she is trying to create the Illusion that she is pushing the graphics when she swipes across it. When I first saw it yesterday I was just confused about what she was doing there. I think they did her nothing good with sticking to the national final staging but in smaller. I mean its ESC - you got to find a way to just go big(er) 🤔

I feel like they have been resting in their laurels and other entries are really bringing it to the party. I can’t believe that Loreen’s team didn’t change anything or at least an upgraded version of it. Yes, looked amazing in melody festivalen but THIS is the stage that they should focus on …. Loreen sings SO heavily... really ... I honestly think people just hype her just by remembering Euphoria's year. She was great then and totally deserved that win. If it's between Finland And Sweeden ...or Israel. I HOPE Finland will WIN. This is the only song in the whole contest that feels like a second while listening and you want to watch it again and again to get that energy and emotions. And also what's interesting I don't like the studio version... to me, Live version is the best. FINLAND LETS GOOO🤩💚

for me, czechia's staging doesn't resonate with the message of the song at all, they still look awkward, and I'm not sure about dancing for this style of a song either. :( but it's a song that's hard to stage. I like it, but not as much when I see the performance.

My thing with Loreen is she's PERFFCT, but seems uncomfortable and doesn't deliver her incredible talent, just some kind of nervousness. I'm not enjoying it for the moment.

I love how you guys are finding positives in the mist of some mediocre performances. Finland is giving me life and honestly the Maltese entry is so bright and colorful. I LOVE LOREEN BUT....SOMETHING IS OFF WITH HER VOICE, THE SOUND, THE COLORS, THE LIGHT. Somehow her performance has loss the magic it had at Melodifestivalen. We need the background to be darker, the reddish/orange tones stronger, and her voice to be on point. Plus the Tiny BOX...I cannot get over it. It looks Cheap andI think it might disappoint a lot of eurovision fans that are not inside the bubble, like us, when they see it for the first time on Final night.
