  • Right Side Bend Downswing ➜ Hit The Ball Flush
    In this video, I show you all about right side bend downswing and why it's a must if you want to play consistent golf week in and week out. The right side bend is a key move that all good players make in the golf downswing that every golfer needs to do. Learn the keys to mastering this move and improving your ball-striking and all-around game. This works for golfers of all handicap levels.
    Practice this right side bend at impact move and you will strike your golf shots more solid and a lot more consistent right through the bag. Start off slow with no club at all and get a good feel for how the side bend works. Slowly progress up to hitting short shots at the golf driving range and eventually full shots. Enjoy the feeling of hitting more solid and more dead centre shots resulting in lower scores on the golf course.

    Troy I have to say, notwithstanding I came upon you by accident, I love the way you explain the game, and how to play for better results! You really ought to have more subscribers than you do but hopefully more will get lucky as I have and find your coaching somehow! Keep up the great work mate!

    Thanks, Troy. You have nailed my biggest problem area, maintaining that side bend on the downswing.

    Just subbed. This is very Mike Austin, Steve Pratt and Mike Dunaway. Post on the rear leg then throw. Excellent video 👍

    I tend to hit behind the ball with right side bend Nick

      Hi Nick, it sounds like you need more rotation in the downswing to get through the ball better. Cheers

      Need to maintain your impact alignments- bent Rt wrist bent Rt elbow, sternum points in front of ball at impact

      I do that too. I think improved side bend needs a better wrist hinge and lag, or else I'll be hitting everything fat.

    This is natural and intuitive with a high iron when hitting down on the ball. Fall less natural with a driver when hitting up on the ball. Pros like Steve Stricker seem to keep very level shoulders with driver while attaining this side bend with irons. Any thoughts on this difference?

    • @Hittingitsolid
      @Hittingitsolid  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes, that's true. With the driver because you're hitting the ball that's teed up the necessity isn't there to get so much side bed. You still need it with the driver but feel like you don't have to accentuate quite as much. Cheers

    Thanks side bend is what I haven’t been doing, tried it out today, unbelievable. Still need to work that feel, but heading on the right track. Question I am getting a feeling of swinging under my torso more , down under and up, am I doing it right ? . Thank you so much. The only coach on line that as made more sense. Just one more thing are you a great believer on the roll release ?

    • @Hittingitsolid
      @Hittingitsolid  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks Marcus, yes that's a great feel to have with the right side bend. I don't believe so much in the roll release although many do. I prefer to keep the wrists most passive through impact before letting them natural release into the follow through. Cheers
