Yup, me too. I also always liked him and on the Today Show. As I recall he was always pretty direct. Liked him as an interviewer. He and Jane made a great pair on that show. IMO

this was so de-classe of Bryan and of Cohen to ask. 99% of their audience has no idea who she was. But 2 men feel they can shit on a woman in broadcasting, (even if she is deceased). I remember seeing her as a kid delivering the news. There was no one better during that time. Man or Female reporter. bar none!

In the early 1980s Savitch put together an enthralling and spectacular documentary on NFL football, gambling, possible game fixing and the outlaw line. One of the best things I've ever seen on the internet. It's extremely difficult to find online. I've seen it on CZcams only to disappear then reappear then disappear, etc.
So glad I stopped watching the television. This ridiculous crap is all that is on.

Andi Wentwirth's white morbid sense of a Black person's answer, showed up real quick when Gumbel was asked about Simpson. Her next reaction would be pretty predictable had Gumbel said no. I also sense that Gumbel wasn't being truthful regarding his position on Simpson. To me, the guve away was when he'd said that Simpson should have gotten out of the country and laid low. I believe that he thinks Simpson is innocent.
