- We take a walk around Skipton to see if this Yorkshire Dales town is worth visiting? We visit the shops, Skipton castle and also the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. We also see some popular places to eat and buy some fish and chips. Skipton is also part of the Pennine Way in The Pennines..

Yes, definitely worth visiting this town. The castle is marvellous, as too is the church next to it.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Skipton is a little gem- the castle is marvelous and the town is charming. There is also a railway station where you can get trains to Carlisle. This video made me dizzy- It showed you many pubs and wine shops, but very little about the town- I would not have recognized Skipton from this video
Can't recommend this place enough. Our first visit to Yorkshire last year and I didn't want to come back to Glasgow 😢
Yeah Skipton is a lovely town! There are many more around Yorkshire too, so I hope you’re able to return and enjoy the area again 😊
Thanks guys.
Thank you too!

you can only park for an hour on the setts, (high street) or you will get a ticket, and not at all on market days which are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday's.
Thanks for sharing 😊👍🏼
Cars ruin all the beautiful towns and villages. I hate cars, I would ban them and make amazing cycle paths, also public transport would be first class style for everyone.
My wife loves looking at nostalgic pictures of how things looked many years ago with people travelling by horse and cart through old towns and villages. You’re right, it’s a very different world today.
