We walk around Skipton Castle Woods with the dog, one of the Yorkshire Dales hidden gems taking in the amazing wicker wood sculptures on the Skipton Woods Trail as well as waterfalls, the river, the pond and of course trees. We even find wild garlic in abundance! Along the way we'll show you some views of Skipton Castle itself and a route to the woods from Skipton town centre.
Skipton Woods is a great place to visit if you are staying in Yorkshire or Lancashire on holiday or if you live in the area but didn't know Skipton Castle Woods even existed.

Haven’t done that in years Skipton being such a difficult local place to actually park.

Yeah it’s not easy is it, especially if you’re wanting to find free parking spots. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve gone back and forth between the two roundabouts looking for a spot 😅
