The 100 envelope challenge was completed the other day and as promised this was the next regular video where I complete unstuff my envelopes and count up the money! Did I have enough or did I have to take from elsewhere?? WHO CARES! I paid off my car, AHHH!!!!

Just stumbled on this video. Congratulations on paying off your car! It proves that even in this current economy, if you are diligent, savings are still achievable. I’m doing the 100 envelope challenge but doing it straight into a bank account each week, using a spreadsheet to keep track of each amount. I’m excited to have $5050 at the end. 😊

Oh my... I am so envious of you and other people who can do this... I started saving envelopes 3 years ago and can never manage to last a year... and now I am down to one income and literally no room to even start a saving system until I can get a second job. I am so proud of you...
Thank you so much Pamela! It can be really tough for sure! Have you tried maybe just saving dollar bills in a jar? Like maybe once per week, add a $1 or whatever dollars you have left and throw it in a jar. And then HIDE the jar. The next week, do the same, etc. Maybe just starting small like that will help you begin to save. Then decide what you want to do with that money either when the jar is full, at the end of the month, or the end of the year and then do with it what you intended it to be for. It could be for your emergency fund (then you'd deposit it into a HYS account, it could be for a household item, it could be for a spa day for YOU. I know you can do it! 🖤🤍❤️
@@FortyPlusLife i haven't tried to save just $1 bills because i like to challenge myself. I like seeing my money stack fast... I was saving for my home until i bought it and then the school i worked for closed and i moved away from the area which is why i have just one income. When i find a job, i plan on using that job for the savings purpose.
