It has been a great 6 months thus far. I referred to the planner daily in the earlier part of the year but now I do so weekly because I am beginning to know my numbers. I have already set up for 2024. But it is all a process. I am over 55 and I didn't think it was too late. In my estimation, I have another 30 years of living to do. There is a chinese proverb that say, 'The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, and the next best time is now." So be encouraged.

Also the shelter animals seem so much more calm (maybe b/c they don’t want to go back to the shelter I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️ but my daughter loves her dog. ❤

How to deal with supplier bills (comes out of my ears daily), paying wages every fortnight, taxes every quarter. Even tho I'm in Australia, I believe similar principals will apply. My 20 years as a tax accountant and I really struggle with the business finances. I'm constantly playing catch up so I'm thinking I need to do business budget planner. Thank you!

I noticed that there is nothing in your budget categories for gifts (offering, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, donations here and there). Where do you put these expenses?
Hey! I keep track of these type of expenses within my sinking funds. So the money is saved for these things and then I just pull it out (separate from my monthly budget) anytime any of these expenses come up.
Thanks, that makes sense, especially for gifts misc. donations, birthday and Christmas gifts. I would treat the offering as a monthly expense or commitment.
