I personally love the boomerang. It stuns enemies so you can have time to adjust and get behind them and stab them in the back. Also the magic boomerang is among the fastest way to farm rupees in a link to the past and is generally really fun to use. ^_^

I'm sure you know this, but Bomb Arrows had origins in Link's Awakening. Set Bombs to one button, Arrows to the other, then press both buttons at the same time.

5. The Spinner from Twilight Princess. It's got almost no use but it's still fun to use in the Arbiter's grounds.
4. The Hookshot/longshot/clawshot I agree with you on this subject because this thing is FUN.
3. Bombs. Blowing stuff up.
2. The Hero's Bow. There's so much stuff you can DO with this. Bomb arrows, the Hawkeye, fire, ice, and light arrows.
1. The Ball and Chain from Twilight Princess. It's a GIANT steel ball on a chain. It has more destructive power than even bombs in almost any situation and it's so much fun to use. Plus you can swing it over your head(somehow) which protects you from some enemies.

You can have the Bomb Arrows in Link's Awakening by equipping the bow to the A or B button slot and Bombs to the other then press both at the same time...
I haven’t played a lot of Zelda games, but my favorite item is currently the Gust Jar from The Minish Cap. It’s fun to suck things up and blast them at enemies like Kirby I guess.

My favourite item is the seed satchel and the seed thrower. Technically two items, but both use the same ammo. You have a lot of different seeds that do cool things when you shoot or use them. You can even eat Pegasus Seeds to run faster.

Regarding the bomb arrows:
While I have never actually played Twilight Princess (the only Zelda games I played extensively were pre-Majora's Mask), I find myself wondering if the bomb arrows are actually a reference to a trick you can do in Link's Awakening. If you equip bombs and arrows to both buttons and then mash them at the same time, you will often shoot a bomb-tipped arrow. This can make blowing up rocks that you'd normally have to toss bombs to destroy a bit easier. Plus, as PBG pointed out, it's fun to just shoot explosive arrows.

There's actually a bug in Link's Awakening where you can use bomb arrows (Honestly,having both boms and arrows in the two button slots and pressing both at the same time)

I like how PBG's favorite Zelda item of all time, appeared in the first trailer for the new The Legend of Zelda title for Wii U, yet he has currently never mention it appearing
Kind, like Jontron was when he asking for a new Starfox that is more like Star Fox 64, yet never mentions the upcoming Star Fox for Wii U title, which seems to be like what he's asking for.
Also, bomb arrows existed way before twilight princess. In A Link to the Past you can equip both items and shoot bomb arrows by pressing both buttons at the same time. They are incredibly useful against bosses.
And the hookshot can even be used to kill Link by using it if you apply video game to real life which I'm sure only Mat Pat's loyal theorists like to do!
