Loved the protocol droid needing a helmet. S-tier trolling by the creators.
lol freaking hilarious
What makes the trolling in this episode all the more satisfying is knowing the same studio makes the later episode the Elder which is by far the most restrained episode in all of Visions. They really wanted to show off the extremes of how Star wars could be portrayed.
They're are probably one of the few reactors that caught that. And probably one of the few star wars fans that didn't shit on the episode because how different it was. Everything doesn't have to be lore accurate to be good.
You guys always get it, it’s meant to be ridiculous
Exactly I’ve seen way to many people complaining about how it doesn’t make sense and saying stuff like “that’s not how lightsabers work”. That is LITERALLY the point of this show. Creators having fun and getting to do whatever they want and mashing two great things together.
One of the few reactors to "get it." I've seen too many trying to overanalyze the light sabers, the crystals, and breathing in space. This was one of Kyle's best reactions IMO
Also, it is Trigger Studio. What are people expecting!
It's so over the top but I just love Studio Triggers style of animation. Kill la Kill, Promare, Little Witch Academia, and BNA, etc. As a huge Star Wars fan, it was hard to ignore how ridiculous this was but I still had fun.
Kill la Kill was my first anime. Since then, only the triggers style "triggers" me. I was so hyped when I realised this episode is done by Trigger ;)
Ps: darling in the franxx is also a masterpiece ;)
@@0biWanKen0by Yeah Darling in the Franxx is also great. I loved most of the show but was pretty disappointed by the ending.
Do not forget Promare with some of the craziest fire fighting ever.
Fun fact the male twin desgin is based of one of the lead characters in Promare Lio
@@0biWanKen0by Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann literally saved my life. I was under severe depression, watched TTGL and it changed my views about a lot of things in life in very positive ways. And the animation still the craziest/greatest ever, for me.
The folks at Studio Trigger saw The Last Jedi and said, "hold my beer."
The male voice is Neil Patrick Harris. You can really here it clearly when he says ‘There is no try. Only do.’
The same guy who played Barney in How I Met Your Mother?
@@blakebridges8989 The one and only.
@@samcarter565 wow I didn’t notice. I’ll have to rewatch to see if I recognize him better
Truly balls to the wall Trigger with a Star Wars skin on it.
Alison Brie brought the right level of hammy tone that worked so well here.
Alison Brie screaming her heart out was worth this 100%... I am gonna tell a bunch of folks I will send them back to a Galaxy of Stars instead of F*** off.
“You can’t fool us”
Trigger: Are you sure about that?
Plot twist: they fooled us
This was definitely the style over substance, rule of cool episode and I absolutely loved it.
This episode was Legen-wait-for-it, dary.
I knew it! I knew I got kill la kill vibes from this. It's studio trigger. I love when this stuff happens. An anthology made up of alternate or parallel stories made by different anime studios. Halo legends, the animatrix and now star wars visions!
Trolling and over the top is what Trigger does best as an animation studio. If only Madhouse was given an episode.
There will be another... visions. this is so popular they will get more studios in. They all wanted in, but there was a limited number of slots. There will be another season.
Grevious and Holdo eat your heart out.
The droid needs a helmet so you can hear him speak. Since space is a vacuum, you wouldn't be able to hear his voice since there is no medium for the sound to transfer through.
Of course this brings into question how the two twins were on the outside of the Star Destroyer without helmets but I assume they were using the Force or something to live in the vacuum.
Yay! Finally a reactor who enjoyed this episode and didn't get all hung up "My Space Wizards Can't Breathe In Space!!!'
Did you notice how the male twins lightsaber, right before he attacked the ship, showed all the colors of lightsabers Jedi could have?
Yes!!! lmaoooo ur right it was to troll those people lmaooo
I still love the droid's name homages: R-Duo (R2, of course) and B2-ON (C3-PO, with each character cycled back one)
This one is one of my favorites! The colors on the brother lightsaber I love it! And the droid hahaha the droid with the helmet!🤣🤣🤣 just to troll you! Love it! Love you guys, love your reaction! 💖
Seeing such fans react the same way I did as in the "wtf was that moment" in the best of ways
This is the most anime Star Wars anime that's ever anime'd.
"The Ninth Jedi' is also strong in the blending of cultures! Up with this one as a favorite.
@@dphalanx7465 I was mostly referring to how this is the most over the top of the shorts. But the Ninth Jedi rules too.
Septuple-wielding lightsabers. That has to be a record.
By the way, the Protocol Droid probably needed the helmet for air to vibrate in order to talk.
The legit star wars fan on yt
We did the Holdo maneuver upside down with a lightsaber outside a starship why? Because Trigger, that’s why!!!
Of all the Vision's episodes this has to be the most over the top but considering it's the same studio that did Gurren Lagann it's to be expected. I loved Gurren Lagann but actually found the over the top style to be a bit much for Star Wars. Still liked it but not as much as some of the others.
yeah, isnt this the kill la kill studio as well
8:50 BY THE JAPAAAAAN'S POWEEEEEEER !
I've seen lots of reactions to this episode. None more entertaining than this one!
Rule of Cool, with the energy level up to 11
Pure Studio Trigger insanity
You two guys are the first reactors I've watched that _actually get this episode._ You grok the Trigger Studios aesthetic. Congratulations!
Bendu: WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!
Anime happened Bendu, Anime happened.
That was my favorite one so far.
If anyone needs a reason for all this, and an answer to your questions: The Force
After this is episode 4 and you can see a old republic ship
It's just not Trigger until somebody's clothes explode.
😂😂😂😂😂 this rxn was hilarious
So it's Star Wars - Gurren Laggan style!!😂
I was waiting for the brother to say "believe in the me, that believes in you" as he was trying to convince his sister lol
GO GO GAGET RAINBOW 🌈 BLADE!
I’m a year late to these but I might have to subscribe to you guys. Your positive attitude and willingness to just roll with whatever comes up in an episode makes for such an entertaining video
Star Wars + Anime / Mushrooms
Listening to Alison Brie this episode made me wonder if this was actually an episode of Community and Abed has asked Annie to play the most over the top and scenery chewing villain she could think of for one of his movies/a Dreamatorium session
I love the brother's lightsaber. It's "Sith ridiculous", but not with a gimmick that would be too weird.
if like this style the studio called trigger is known for kill la kill, SSSS.Gridman (or in america back in 90s called Super Samurai Syber Squad hence the four S), little witch academia or one before they formed studio trigger when most of the animators were part of gainax studios they worked on Gurran Lagann.
the style of animation, character designs and scenes alot of it inspired from works by Go Nagai which he is known to establish themes still seen in modern anime. 70s he made alot of super robot animes like Mazinger Z, cutie honey brought in flashy transformations that later use for other magical girl shows like sailor moon. biggest one is he is the one that made devilman which for its time the manga was damn dark. that inspried alot of ppl that read it be writers/artists ranging from the creator of Berserk to the development of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
note: if for whatever lookup devilman and one from the 70s the tone and story plot is almost opposite from the manga. devilman crybaby the most recent version of it despite some out there scenes it does capture the dark/mess up themes of devilman manga onto screen.
Is it wrong that I'd like to see a full live action movie of these characters?
You're right and you should say it
That animation looks like its from Kill la Kill
WHY is the Droid wearing a Helmet!!!! WHY!!!???!! LOL
Thanks!
Studio Trigger shows aren't for everyone but you gotta try Promare, such an exciting movie
Trigger loves to do the overdramatized fights, reminded me of GurrenLagan.
To be honest, I though Studio Trigger would have gone crazier.
8:10 general gracious: *heavy breathing...and coughing*
orange creamsicle storm troopers That is what I see.
I think it would be cool if Star Wars could make a what if show too
Thanks, Kyle! Thanks, Bendu! Thanks, Nerd Chronic! ♊
Anime from Trigger known for Impossiblenes 😂...breath in the Space? Survive the Hyperdrive only with skin? That was nothing compares to Giant robots fought while throwing Galaxy as disc chakram, then the other robot so big, it used the Galaxies as its footstep and Gravity acts like an Ocean in Space!....
So yeah, I'm not surprised...
This is some sugar overloaded BS if I've ever seen since Saturday morning cartoons. XD
That hyperdrive lightsaber slash was the most Anime shit I've ever seen and I'm 100% about it.
Too many people complain about this episode. All that people need to do is watch Promare, Gurren Lagann, and Kill la Kill to understand Trigger literally doesn't care.
Honestly loved the artstyle of this episode but I really hated the story and everything else
Waiting for you to get to the elder and the ninth jedi, my two favourites
