''He set a new standard for hardness and freakiness that we had never seen before.''
Do you think in the future we will see someone else changing the game like Dorian and Ronnie?
i hope nick walker will be interesting in the future

No..because everything is already on the limit
Only genetic Doping will change it. Need some Years..
@@abhinav6726 hahaha nope 😅😅

When Dorian Yates walk on the stage he looks like a solid rock .
The aura he had it'll never be seen again. One of a kind.
My favourite body builder of all time.
The conditioning is on another level from what you see today.
No it's not 🤣
@@sihlemakels no one was as hard or cut like him your crazy
@@sihlemakels This is true! Modern bodybuilders are shit compared to Yates and other guys from the 90s.
@@sihlemakels Completely clueless 😂
too much soy in today's society
This man took his hardships in life and used that fire to forge his will and body of steel. Nothing but absolute respect for him.
Love it.
Hes fake.hes a juicer.
@@bkh5746 But he's not a fake. Never has been. Yes he juiced but he's open on that. Every open Olympia competitor is juiced. Doesn't make them fake. Your comment is the epitome of someone who hasn't a clue what they're talking about
@@bkh5746 you wouldn't even be a fraction of what he was if you took steroids
Like every other pro bodybuilder...what's your point nitwit?@@bkh5746
Dorian had the coolest looking and most unique quads in history.
Gotta love Dorian. So down to earth and his boasting is so dry it just comes off as fact
love his wings, especially from the front, probably the best
Not probably, definitely the best
They say that there will never be another Ronnie Coleman but there will never be another Dorian Yates he changed the game for ever
In my opinion Dorian is the GOAT. He had that perfect balance of being freaky big while also being cut.
I love how weeks before the 1993 Olympia, Dorian released those famous black and white photos, and all the other competitors who thought they were in with a chance, realized the show was already over.
VHS footage from the 90's and he is harder standing relaxed than today's Olympia competitors flexing.
Well said!! Totally agree!! Today's competitors are watered up, there is no hard granite conditioning as in the 90s
he was on the juice
@@xngtrecex6998 no shit Sherlock
@@xngtrecex6998 do you think?....obviously, all the good pros are.
@@RockstahRolln Muscle built on volume and insulin....most 90s guys added gh and insulin mid career, and trained harder, it shows in the aspect of the muscle...
I never get tired of seeing Dorian. He didn't have the prettiest physique but no one to this day replicates that hardness, which quite frankly I don't think displays it as well with a pretty boy look.
Truth. "Not the prettiest, but the best." 💯
I'm a big big fan of Dorian but what you are saying is wrong as Branch Warren had that hardness and that thin paper skin and also that grainy look to his physique the same as what Dorian had so if your into bodybuilding you should of known this before putting out such a comment like that what is wrong
@@Pablo-sr2zx lmao Warren wasn't as grainy as Yates he was just freakishly vascular
The grainy look and hardness definitely there but he looked like a construction worker on stage.
@@Pablo-sr2zx Warren attained his look more the volume of drugs he took, he'd take as much as he possibly could handle. 100,000 a year easily 💉💊💰
Dorian won because he dominated his competition. He was the most massive and more muscular. His skin was paper thin. He was awesome and undeniably the best in his day.
People knock bodybuilders but you cannot deny the torture and mental toughness it takes to get in the condition dorian did. Not only the training but the diet also. Discipline of a warrior 💪
the only ppl I've ever seen that knock bodybuilders or men that lift to build muscle are weak men, weak physically, weak mentally, angry individuals, no woman, dead end job, nothing going for them. They see somebody that looks good and is strong and it hurts them. Rather than taking it as inspiration to look better be stronger they choose to be lazy and hate.
@@sleepytimeshecomestrue I’m not really a massive fan, but I like the training and effort these guys put in.
@@sleepytimeshecomes I think also a part of why people in general look weirdly at bodybuilders is because a large of people does not understand how much work go's into building muscle. Every bodybuilder will tell you they where suprised how much time it costs. 500 grams of muscle a month naturally? Its slow as shit.
And secondly i think a lot of people think that steroids=You have to put no effort in. They look at bodybuilders and wonder ''Is that.. REAL muscle?'' Yea well of course it is. There is nothing 1% fake about it. There is no oil in it. These are not spongebob blow-up arms like spongebob did in that one episode lol.
Also women, and men (And especially gay men lol) love muscle. A lot of them at least. And they vastly underestimate the time put in a certain physique i mean. They are not aware that that amazing body in the magazine was done with perfectly lighting, a tan, and a massive pump, best camera angles and lenses and stuff. People don't know why a amazing natural physique looks like if that guy wears a big lose shirt. They legit think you don't even work out until you take it off.
Basically as a natural bodybuilding, you can't really get ''to big'' for most women as what some guy's fear. Unless you are big buy yourself but the skinny or normal dudes like me, no lol.
If gaining muscle was so easy, then why do you very rarely see a big dude.
I'm surprised how few people give him credit for his posing. He is unique in every pose.
In my opinion no1 has beat the quality of that physique since
What a legend. The hardest training bodybuilder of all time.
DORIAN YATES ROCK HARD MASS MONSTER. QUALITY MUSCLE SIZE. ONE OF THE BEST.
Hell yeah.
Dorian el gran "Bull Dog" ingles sencillamente fue, es y será uno de los 5 mejores de la historia del Mr. Olympia.,......., un inmortal.
It is more than 10 years since i saw Dorian for the first time. And i didnt lose this freaking feel looking at him ... unbelivable ... and when he speaks my mind is in different universe.

That accent helps his vast intelligence acquired from experiences, Peter Mcgough’s tutelage, and hard work!
@@kevio6868 you mad he don’t love you more 😍❤️😘 😂
the best back I have ever seen on bodybuilders. when he turns back to show your back he looks more muscular than other competitors, even if he doesn't tighten his muscles
I personally think he has the best front lat spread of all time, was unreal in that pose
Yeah, I agree, perfect proportion
Markus Rühl beat his front lat spread in 2002. But up until then, he was the best.
@FabledGentleman what you smoking?
@@leccy9901lol. That is classified, you should not be allowed near drugs ever again, your eyes are failing.
@FabledGentleman fair enough. Just if I had what you had maybe is see myself the size of Jay cutler. Ronnie I'd understand, though disagree, but Marcus? No. Just no. Loved him, but he wasn't a spot on dorian. The beauty of bodybuilding though, it doesn't matter. Its our opinion. So we are both rite, and wrong. I bid you farewell 🖖
The GOAT
300 pound Dorian was better and scarier than the Olympias of recent years!
The best to ever do it. Pride of the uk
People always talk about Ronnie Coleman but for me this guy another level man . Better conditioning with brilliant back and midsection . He is best of all time

That juxtaposition between the quad stomp and forced rep of leg extension is so badass. Great editing job.
Bodybuilding isn't a sport, it's just PURE dedication.
It really is the conditioning that set him apart. The striations and graininess is something to behold. “The Shadow” a badass nickname that could only be earned.
Dorian for me the best ever
Look at his eyes as he walks out and stands next to Flex, Dorian has this laser focus, he's the most confident guy on stage and everyone knows it.
There is not beter motivation then Dorian&Leroy training together 💪💪💪💪never get tired of them, never.
His blood and guts video is the ultimate preworkout
Dorians front lat, and back lat spreads are so iconic
I actually met Dorian in person over here in the uk,the year was 1988 at the Wulfrun bodybuilding show where he was the guest poser. When I saw him back then his size was unbelievable and this was well before he earned his IFBB Pro card.
I seen his as well. AFTER he retired in a club.....in. NYC. and his forearm was the size of my leg. LMFAO

The most intelligent bodybuilder in history
Dorian Yates the.best bodybuilder forever
He was the man in the years I trained... I trained heavy and hard like Dorian always pushing for more.... Thanks Dorian!

Intense video about an intense man who was truly built from the bottom up.
One of the greats.
The intensity of his exertions were soo extreme that he could literally push his effort to rip his muscle from bone attachment in his final set to failure. His willpower is monster scary.
Dave Palumbo said couple of years back he got to see Dorian train and Bev's Powerhouse gym , he said it was scary and it looked like his muscles were about to rip off the bone...
@@TheLusianPopa That could explain what happened to his biceps and other muscles..
@@VCthaGOATdunker other muscles?he trained too hard too close to the show, whcih wasnt a necessity....he was so intense he couldnt do maintenance workouts....
@@VCthaGOATdunker not really, those tears happened because of dehydration, lack of calories and a sudden influx of steroids into the system because he was just a few weeks out from a competition when he suffered those injuries.
