@@Poweroftouch the BBC actually turned this match down. The men's WC was on ITV. The BBC suck.
Both BBC and ITV were offered it, but not interested .. I believe the BBC were offered it for free in the end, but still declined. Much better to show repeats of " Bargain Hunt " ...
The BBC turned it down 🤔 if there's not a hint of sexism in there. I'm sure everyone else has their own opinions on the BBC
I can understand ITV not showing the game given their coverage of the men's WC, but the BBC should've carried on their support

It's just the BBC have done well to show this on domestic channel's, they shouldn't drop it. Lets hope they bring it back on to BBC2 for WXV @@johnpoile1451
A wonderful exhibition of rugby. The player of the match being Ellie Kildunne was well deserved.
I'm not biased being a supporter of Keighley RUFC, Ellie's first club. ❤
The current pace of developement of the Womens games is amazing we need to see a lot more of this on TV.

This is the best we have seen Ellie Kildunne play for a long time. I have had my doubts in the past as she often failed to pass at the right time.
What a first appearance for Maisie Allen, well done.
Helena Rowland played well at centre but she is such a good player that I would be comfortable with her anywhere in the backs.
Was Jess Breach playing?
I'm not sure that either Emily Scarrett or Zoe Harrison would be my first choises.
There is so much richness and pride for the English women, ALOT of Canadian talent has gone over seas to play. I am so grateful that womens rugby continues to be supported and taken seriously at the English level. Imagine if Canada had the same support England did? They and New Zealand can go just one step higher. Also Magali not getting a HUGE high five for saving that tackle, she is rare. The Canadians have youth on their side. Time will tell how they keep up with the demands of life and sport, Canada needs to fund their athletes better!

The main reason that I have been really appreciating the women’s rugby game, is that. They tend to keep the ball in their hands, rather than kick possession away.

First time I have used CZcams on my TV. Wondering who is providing the content. Good angles on the play, excellent commentary.
It was wonderful to see England;s new style, but they were dropping the ball a lot & giving it away. I think Le Bleu and the Black Ferns will crack them if they don't tidy that up.

Great game, but absolutely atrocious coverage. Sound levels all over the place, ref mic not patched through and camera work by a four year old. If women's rugby is to gain additional coverage, the production team needs to step up!
1 minute 50 in the game and a forward pass try for England ( 24:37 ) apparently the referring is still biased in favor of the brits
Also Kildunne didn't scored a try going at 48:54 and going 0.25 speed shows that she clearly dropped the ball
Just to temper your biaise a little, the last Canada try was from a very obvious forward pass.
poor reffing again 1st Canada try is a truck and trialer situation so penalty England. what i am seeing a lot of with refs is pens not given in favor of england and anything marginal against them gets called. Its really poor. That sort of reffing will damage the Womens game significatly. 2nd Canada try so many things wrong with it. 1 not releasing pen Engalnd same ruck driving in from the side pen England the coming in not behind the back foot 3rd pen England the the ball is not grounded held up turn ove england. Before that when england when the ball Canada do not release so yet again pen England. Shock reffing for both Canada tries.
