- A Russian major was killed in eastern Ukraine after a propaganda TV crew broadcast his location to the Ukrainians. Dramatic footage captured the moment shells landed on the crew as they were filming near the frontlines in Kreminna, in the Luhansk oblast of Ukraine. Ukraine says the attack killed a major working for the press service. Intense fighting is currently underway in the Kreminna forest and has been since the start of the year. Russia is trying to advance through the forest to re-take the small part of Luhansk it doesn’t control. And provide it with a route into the northern part of Donetsk, which Putin is aiming to seize. Ukraine has so-far stopped any Russian breakthrough of their defensive lines, but has been forced to cede territory in order to keep the line intact. Shortages of artillery barrels and ammunition are the main reason for the withdrawals, with billions of dollars in military aid currently held up in US congress. #russia #ukraine #war

I agree. The Europeans already send a lot of financial support to Ukraine. But Ukraine urgently needs the military equipment that the US has stockpiled and the European countries simply do not have at this moment. The war industry has only just woken up...
actually, if every EU country would send 1 of each military item Ukraine needs (air defense, long range fires, etc.) , the situation would be different. right now Europe is making financial "pledges". but after 2 years, their inability to fill military gaps is revealing to me.

The EU is now purchasing massive amount of weaponry and building a Iron dome like Israels. A family member of mine works in the weapons manufacturing sector and he say's they've been working overtime for the past 2 years. For every shell they give to Ukraine 5 stays in the EU depots. Look at Poland as an example. They'll have over 1000 top quality South Korean tanks in no time at all.
