Thanks
My experience with the elbow pain was that my GP did not diagnose it correctly. After over 5 years, I went to a bone doctor who correctly referred me to a rheumatologist, who diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis. This was after years of elbow, hands, and shoulder therapy. Currently on meds that hopefully will help. Get second opinions!
Very sorry this happened to you. Glad to hear you are on the right track now.
Hi Mike and Brad!!! Lovely seeing y'all! Thanks for sharing, I'll definitely forward this video to someone who can benefit from these exercises. See y'all soon! Toodles!!!
You're amazing and we appreciate your continued support!!
Thanks guys! I can get elbow pain during tennis and when using a Screwdriver tool which used to
hinder my performance in my job, and now retired for some years just yesterday after a long time not using a screwdriver the pain started to return and gets quite painful..so these excercises should help.
Useful, thank you again.
Great to hear it was helpful! Keep up the great work!
Brad can you guys please do a video on safe core exercises for people with hiatal hernia in their stomach.
I have added this to our to do list!
Thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching!
The supination/pronation comparison between arms was illuminating. I haven't seen that test in other videos. I was surprised to discover how much my rotation is limited in my impacted arm. I also noticed that my fingers are always splayed open on that arm, instead on resting inward towards the index finger like they are on the other. I've only experienced issues in the last month or two, but I'm thinking the visible constricted movement in my arm and fingers might indicate that I've long had some damage, just haven't felt pain until recently. I've been playing more sports the last few years, now in my early 60s, after decades of not having much of that sort of activity. So I've cut back a little on the sports, especially the racket sports, but I don't know if they're the cause. I don't feel much pain when being active, usually forget about it at those times. It's mostly on down times, a day or two when I'm not doing anything, that it bothers me the most. I've been thinking that I may have caused the problem by years and years of drawing on the computer using a wacom drawing tablet. All those small repetitive finger movements. And I thought maybe poor posture could have contributed, my elbow cramped downwards off the table while I draw. So I moved the tablet back on the desk, to force myself to reach more, maybe keep my arm more level and move more from the shoulder. But the opposite of that is recommended here, at least when using a mouse.
Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching! We hope it was helpful
Thanks!
Anytime! We are happy to help!
I had tennis elbow symptoms , and so pursued the usual routine of exercises and physio. Nothing worked. Turned out my elbow joints were actually out-of-whack, and I had to cobble together a series of popping and stretching exercises that would pop the elbow back into alignment, instantly returning functionality and feelings of normalcy
But, after 6 months of thinking I had tennis elbow, I am finding that permanently resettling my joints is an ongoing process. Using the computer is particularly responsible for returning the joint to misalignment. I am also back exercising and weight lifting to rebuild grip strength. Kettle bell swings are great for popping a disjointed elbow btw .My arm feels best after a weight training routine
Thank you for sharing this!
The previous video recommends a tennis elbow strap. My doctor didn’t recommend that and had me get a custom fitted wrist brace that seems to make things feel worse. I just curl my fingers down onto the brace. Are the straps still recommended?
I recovered by quitting my job and having ulnar nerve releases in both elbows.
What’s that?
Sorry to hear that's what it came to!
What was your job that caused it?
@@custerranch conveyor belt mechanic.
What if your supination and pronation is perfect- loose and doesn’t hurt? The pain is by the elbow bone?
It could be from overuse and/or an injury or even arthritis. We would suggest to see your doctor to make a proper diagnosis.
Brad and Bob are killing it with the AI generated thumbnails! Who knew we’d be into gilf’s again?!
