  • Welcome to the first video in our exciting series on level creation in Unity! In this video, we dive into the initial stages of building a horror-themed game level, starting with conceptualizing our level through a sketch and then moving on to greyboxing. We're creating "The Ossuary," a bone temple for a reaper-perfect for adding a spine-chilling atmosphere to our game.
Greyboxing is a crucial step in game development where we outline the basic structure and layout of our level using simple, untextured shapes. This helps us visualize the overall design and flow before adding detailed assets and textures.
Throughout this series, I'll guide you through each step of the process, from greyboxing to adding intricate details that bring our terrifying game world to life.
    🛠️ In This Episode:
Conceptualizing "The Ossuary" through a detailed sketch.
Introduction to greyboxing and its importance in level design.
Setting up the basic layout and structure of our bone temple.
Tips and tricks for efficient greyboxing in Unity.
Stay tuned for the next video where we'll start adding detail pieces and refining our level design. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay updated with the latest content!

Loved this no nonsense and honest talk through - Really nicely done and very high level but with a casual approach! Can't wait to see more

I could see a Triple A He man game working as it could be gritty like God of war If not more so because the main character doesn't have daddy issues

1:33 Hey, ossuary is pronounced osh-uary. Also, please include in the title that this process is of making the visuals for a level, and not the gameplay for a level.
