I've been vegan and following you for years, it's nice to see you give it a try Mike :)
yay finally a vegan restaurant
I went to Mongolia last summer for 6 weeks to teach English! It's so fun seeing your vlogs and recognizing places I've been or restaurants I've eaten! :) thanks for bringing us along!
Mongolia's tourism experience is less than 20 years old. Over the past few years one thing became clear, most tourists can't handle extensive meat dishes. They needed lighter food for substitute, a vegan food. Of course for Mongolians light food solution is dairy based dishes. And tourist doesn't like that either. So around 2000's few vegan food franchises started popping up, along with the vegan Lifestyle Guru's. I think that was one of those restaurants, you've just had dinner. BTW glad you liked Authentic Mongolian food.
There's a lot of Korean stuff because Korean businesses invest in Mongolia and the government actively supports investment in Mongolia
The next time you come to Taiwan, check out some high-end vegan/vegetarian places. That kind of food can taste awesome ALL the time.
I've been waiting forever for you to eat vegan food! I loved it. I'm vegan and I love your videos but it can be very hard to watch when your eating a bunch of meat. I'd love to see you do more vegan videos. maybe just if you tried 1 vegan place everywhere you travel to.
hey you can come to India to try out some vegan food. I mean dairy products are engraved in our culture but you can try out a variety of Indian vegan delicacies.
@@Shreyaasreyli Which are the best vegan friendly places to visit in your opinion?
@@pgrothschild I really don't know cause i don't live in the states
@@Shreyaasreyli oh, I assumed you were living in India, my bad.
@@pgrothschild Hey but rajasthan provides an amazing variety of vegan delicacies.
I can relate with the washer. When I was in Spain a few months ago, our apartment had what we thought was a washer/dryer combo. Turns out it did have a dry function, but there was no vent so all it made was hot and steamy clothes. Our clothes were strewn across the whole place trying to dry out before we left.
More vegan vids, or meals here and there. Would love your take on the flavors, I mean it makes sense to mix in healthy food as well.
I like your fair and honest evaluation. It is good to know foreigner's fair opinion about many things in Mongolia.
Not going to lie, I love the uniform in the modern nomads place!
Hands down u r one of the best channels to watch during when u eat.
I see you ordered the Mongolian Bucket O Meat for lunch lol. It looked really good. Enjoying this Mongolian trip!
would love to see more of Mongolia the old buildings and temples look so awesome. wouldnt mind learning more about them
I am new to your channel and I have been watching a lot of your videos the last couple weeks. You are very funny I think and you know how to eat. lol... Your videos have really good sound quality. It's been a long time, or maybe never have I had music to come out of both of my speakers as clearly as on your videos and I can hear the sound of you speaking very clearly. Keep on keeping on.
Not early but yay new video!! Also mike, I wish I was lucky enough to see u in Singapore!!
Thank you for the video. The spinach did indeed look fabulous!
You need to go to a guanz for traditional Mongolian fare! :) I'm heading to Mongolian next year for a hiking expendition! Really excited!
DAMN 210k subs and you already got 70k views, its a lit channel, great to see your channel grow Mikey!
is he considered a major youtuber?!?
I love how he can walk around in public and talk to us so freely as if it's just himself and his audience around. It's something I truly enjoy when watching his videos.
When I were younger, I'm certain it's a quality I enjoyed when watching popular CZcamsr 'Pewdiepie'. Because he were simply happy being himself. I'm sure with this positive attitude Mike has on his shoulders, he'll grow faster each day.
Just don't let the negativity get to you one day. 🤗
when I was in UB last year I used to eat at that vegan place almost every day, cause it was like 2 minutes walking distance from my apartment! I'm returning to mongolia in less than three weeks, and I'm more than excited :)
Andreas Bierwald thank you. One nice comment among many negative ones.
I want to try Mongolian food.
You'd be surprised at how bland the taste is.
Go for those dried semi-spoiled cheese curds they love out on the steppe, at least they surely aren't bland.
Yeah, the dried curds are pretty good and diverse. It can be sweet or sour.
mongolian food is incredible
Trust me it's not that great.
Mongolians are nomads that live in the steppes. They ate to survive not for taste, In fact that's why they invaded China because they could get better food.
For some reason, my tickle box fell when he said the spinach was made from heavenly grass, lol☺️🤗
Love the historical part of your video, really interesting
Good Luck traveling the world!!!!!!!! You're wonderfulness and a pro at guiding my heart. 我好爱你!
ahahah, Mikey! Finally XD
would love to see more vegan food videos!! BTW I love all your travel/food videos!! 😊keep up the good work!

You have a great voice and personality Mike.
Yay mikey!!! You tried vegan!!! I hope to see more vegan places in your journey in the future. It’s good to try new things 😁 plus the animals will thank you 🙏 Enjoying all of your vlogs! Thanks!!
So cool, how fortunate you are to travel to so many places.
Thanks for brightening my day with your gorgeous face!

You're the best vlogger, love your videos!
Nice to see you eat so many different kinds of food.
Hey Mike! Who was the person holding the camera at 3:10?
nice catch
Its his waifu.
He not wearing a ring though
Mike on the DL is a ladies man!
She is his girl friend and she was in Thailand too
Vegan food is great man! I've had incredible vegan dim sum in Sydney. There are some cool Chinese vegetarian (usually vegan but labelled "vegetarian") restaurants around, I think NYC has a vegan dim sum place. You really don't need meat for flavour.
come to India and u will know how incredible the vegetarian food will be by the way im from india
Zelda in most villages in India, the calf is allowed to drink the milk from their mother until their full. They only take the extra milk, which is why its ok to use. However, these days calf are being taken away and not treated right but since dairy is so important in the culture, no one really cares.
Zelda you have a diary? My sister has a diary
No come to Punjab you will get spicy hardy meat
Come to Kerala , God's Own Country
I love Indian food! And so much is vegetarian!
Heaven grass😂😂! Love your vídeos, thanks for sharing!
Love you're channel I subscribed
3:00, holy cow, that waiter has some nice cheekbones.
Wow!
Omg I die! Vegan and Mike yasssss total slay
watching this video is reminds me of my trip to Mongolia a year ago, and some of the places you visit I also visited when I was there. My suggestion you should go to Gandantaegchinglen Monastery and Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue, I bet you gonna be amazed when you were there.
Hey Mikey! Fellow Delta Chi here, nice to see other brothers!!!
If you have to choose between hot oil and meat which would you choose?
So glad!
So great to see u embrace ur vegan side 😁😁😁 keep up the great work !
Very yummy
Hi Mikey! I love watching your vlogs! Have you ever been to Busan? May want to go there next time you're in Korea. I was born there and visited it for the first time ever a few years ago. We stayed at the Paradise hotel which was along the beach. Very beautiful! We had a lot of bim bim bop too! Another cool thing besides the beautiful beaches and scenery they have there is the Shingyasae Mall. Hope I spelled that right. Anyway it's a 14'story mall! My other thing is, have you ever seen Simon and Martina's CZcams channel? They live in Japan and i think it would be really cool if y'all were all in a vlog together.
Go to the Countryside especially visit Khuvsgul region, and stay in Mongolian traditional ger yurt. And ride some horses or camels
I m so glad u like our Mongolian food
One of the first ones here! Yay
U got to try their black burger!!
Love you Mikey!
Orayt notif squad from PH!
The answer is yes, Yes Mikey you are a walking example of gluttony...but we love you for it as most of us will never have the opportunity to travel and eat like you do, so we live vicariously though you! So keep up the good work!
Mongolia has the same population of the twin cities (~3.6 mil) within the size of the all the Western US states
Mike, how often do you get the bubble gut?
Are going to get out into the countryside. I want to see people out on the plains riding horses and living in yurts.
If you really want traditional mongol food you gotta go out into the steppes and find some nomads that live in gers.
:o mike you should try this korean food place in Austin, TX called Cho sun korean bbq >-< it looks good but idk XD i only had the bi bim bop it was pretty good though.
Seeing this makes me miss my home country so much 😭
did you finish all the food you ordered?
mine was in Hong Kong, delicious !
You are hillarious and awesome! Eat, sleep, eat... :D
wow wow
Mikey, I have the same feelings about the toy car. Never got one, asked for one for 3yrs straight 😓 lol Sad part is now that I'm older and able to drive, I dislike it. Probably because I never got my toy car!! 🤔😓😂😂🚗🚘
Nevermind Mike is showing July 6th events in Mongolia. A Local here.
That sheep bones, we have them too, boys are playing with them, they re kinda one of our national games
There's were and probably still are a lot of Korean people that escaped from North Korean. I know they escaped into China, so I don't doubt they came into Mongolia as well.
I was in that exact mall a few months ago.
Yes, I like the title of your video...The first time is always interesting to me.
Hey Mikey, I was just wondering what it is that u do as in business. Im very interested
Welcome to Mongolia! Have a fun
looking forward to more vegan experiments. Love your videos XD
Plz make video of how to cook mala xiang guo.
And now think about how food has to taste in a really good vegan restaurant, in a country who is not that extreme into meat like Mongolia :) Hope you give it another try in some other place.
❤
You are awesome.
Woww ur parent bought skates! I got a bike though.. want to try skating but 😅 the falling down part isnt appealing
They have korean influence because many North Koreans use Mongalia as an escape route
Kat87 Kat97 lmao no because Korean media is huge in Mongolia.
Mike do you have any plans to visit Nepal in the near future???
KING
Hello. What was the restaurant name and city please?
YESSS MIKEY 🙏🙌 Please try more vegan meals!!

Im vegan and ive waited for this video for forever!
When r u goign to come to india?
hey mikey bro..what happened to ur science-debunking - education channel ? tats was also awesome..
That mans 0:19 just led this cart in the middle of the store when two feet away there was a gathered area lol oh well.
Mike, as a subscriber I sure like to have a reference on how much these food cost at the time of filming.
Regarding Korean influence... In early 90s, 1 of 3 Mongolians lived and worked in Korea both legally and illegally. Nowadays, South Korea is still attractive for many Mongolians.
Is the Mongolian and Korean language similar ? Is there a lot of Korean investment in Mongolia ? Thanks.
juandenz2008 the languages are different. Looks like alot of Korean businesses investing there for sureZ
1/3?!? that much?!?
juandenz2008 Some of Korean busness in mongolia but it is not bigger as other countrys has it.This dude is from Chinatown New York. And looked for motel where the foreign Asian area in UB
