I think Magic Mike having a dark side is well within the definition of Fairy Specialist, because while Fairies are known for mischief, people forget that their pranks and tricks that seem silly to them can have dire effects on their victims.

There are so many elements that would make a Galar run with this character great; the hint at galarian rapidash, the potential to do something with the plot point of Opal looking for a successor, the fact Bede (who gets selected by Opal) shows up to rain on you parade during the tournament (and when ya add in the fact that Bede starts out as more of a psychic type specialist I could see Magic Mike complaining about how he's not a true fairy specialist, he's just like the specialists from Kanto, one kind of specialist masquerading as a different kind of specialist, so overall a great rival plot for the character). Really hope we get to see this version of Mikey return.

@@grandlancer Well, the difference is that Eeevee from Kanto CAN evolve into Umbreon. The cat, the rat and the sludge from Kanto will evolve only into their bigger, non-Dark forms. But it would make a more entertaining run, for sure.
@@acdcljb Not in let's go eevee. Literally only kanto pokemon, which... While let's go eevee has visually appealing gameplay, it is one of the most limited for these kinds of runs. Firered or a fangame/romhack would be better for a type specific run

Schizophrenia ≠ dissociative identity disorder. Schizophrenia is associated with paranoia and hallucinations, not having multiple personalities. That's DID and there's heavy debate in the psychiatric community over whether it should even be included in the DSM because there's not much evidence that it's a real thing.
I always saw it more as BPD than Schizo

Different parts can’t interact with each other. I didn’t know I had it (or the daily prolonged blackouts it causes) until I was diagnosed-I thought the way that the date, clock, and my surroundings can randomly change from one second to the next for me was the way time moved for everyone, and never thought twice about it. That’s why I argued to change the longterm IP I’d been living in at the time for a second opinion, and then spent several years after that one seeking a third opinion because I assumed they were just repeating the wrong information from the first one. I thought it was impossible that I could have it without knowing, but that was actually one of the differentiating criteria they had used to come to that conclusion over OSDD or BPD after ruling out juvenile dementia.
I would love to see the psychic character as a medium who can channel different alternate universe Mikeys for different battles instead! Maybe because they’re a brains over brawn type, they need the extra help to succeed?
I've always thought they were doppelgangers. Mikey creates a fake persona and it manifests into another Mikey.
Watching Mike descend into vengeance fuelled madness is pretty accurate to how a classic fairy would react to being disrespected.
Magic Mike. The true origin of the leader of Team Dark Sky: He went insane after being challenged by too many poison type pokemon. Part fo the problem was that he was only allowed to open a Fairy Gym in a city with easy access to historic and scenic water ways, next to which the city's sewage systems were hidden, giving easy access to poison types, but still. Due to this, he decided to destroy all poison type pokemon, and darkened the sky in order to get people to hunt them down, so to gain access to his sky islands. Pretending that Team Night Sky was a future iteration of Team Sky was merely an opportunistic lie, as Team Sky was one of the more approachable enemies of Team Night Sky, as their problem with what was happening was entirely with the fact that they darkened the sky, instead of the hunting of Poison Type Pokemon. They were still a threat who utilized Poison Type Pokemon, sure, but mostly just Golbat's.
So, by discovering a portal back in time, Magic Mike saw an oportunity to remove a major headache, getting rid of Team Sky Leader and attempting to persuade him to become a part of Team Night Sky and, once he joined, converting him to the side of hunting down and destroying the Poison Type for good.
Shinies are pokemon that have been blessed by the fairy folk at birth. Any shiny is an honorary fairy.

Can we talk about how Magic Mike seems to be somehow closely related to the Dark Lord within the Mikey Universe? Most of his mental slips were related to darkness, and it makes sense that a Fairy gym leader would go to the first region they were introduced. @TheShiningEnergy If I had to make a guess, seeing how Let's Go Pikachu is a remake of Pokémon Yellow, and the Pikachu in that game can't evolve, and it's very common for Nintendo to release two different versions of the same Pokémon game, they ended picking another marketable Pokémon to be the second Pokémon for the Let's Go games. And seeing how Pikachu can't evolve, that would ultimately mean that Eevee can't evolve as well.
