I feel like Mikey's Dr. Fuse character would have a field day if he played Pokemon Insurgence. While there's unfortunately no fusing pokemon, there's still lots of science themes throughout the duration of the game, mostly around the Delta Pokemon, and Dr. Fuse might even try joining the Cult of Perfection in the game, given it's their goal to crate the perfect pokemon, which was also Dr. Fuse's goal in Infinite Fusion.

I like how Sky Mikey gets through the tougher battles that Dr. Fuse struggled with due to the fact that he's a much more experienced trainer as opposed to Dr. Fuse who is a researcher who became a trainer by circumstance.
Lore wise, he's genuinely the best trainer in his universe. He's champion in multiple regions and he had to achieve each and every single one of his titles without any help from his previous team members. In a way, he's Ash if he doesn't keep Pikachu and actually won his battles.

@@coyolord8031 No, his main weakness is not evolving his Pokémon. Pikachu is just the prime example, so I went with that.
Most of his Pokémon do evolve. Stop exaggerating a minor problem. The plot armor he got in his final adventure is a far bigger deal.
@@gengarzilla1685 In later gens, yes. But he definitely could've won multiple league titles had he chosen to do that earlier. Kanto League would've been a cakewalk with a Venusaur (I know Bulbasaur didn't want to evolve, but that's beside the point). Johto would've been easy with both Typhlosion and Feraligatr, not to mention a Donphan had he evolved it earlied. Hoenn... Crawdaunt would've been useful, but he actually had a solid team this time. In Sinnoh, he might've stood a better chance with Floatzel and Garchomp, not to mention his older Pokémon which he actually used for the League this time. But he was facing a GameShark user so I'll give him a break this time. Unova is Unova, and he evolved all of his Pokémon in Kalos. Alola... He actually won despite carrying a Rowlet so fair play.

Well, Dr. Fuse was able to take off his goggles after achieving triple fusion, and they had been giving him a headache, so I guess he's calmer cause he's in less pain.

He had inside knowledge or would have struggled
He only had it easy because Dr Fuse gave him Intel about Chanuk, if Dr Fuse hadn't warned Mikey he would have struggled greatly

The most realistic part of pokemon, a professor sends you off with minimal instructions and expects you to complete several never before seen projects, one of which (pokedex) should be impossible as it includes finding literal myths and legends

Chardactyl is an hommage to Monster Hunter, specifically to Tigrex. While Fusions can absolutely slap without referencing using official creature designs, it certainly works for this one!!
Tigrex is one of my favorite monsters in monster hunter

47:10 fun fact for you MIkey; the fusion of Charizard and Aerodactyl was actually a Tigrex, one of the flagship monsters from the Monster Hunter, (The tail on the sprite is custom though).
That flash back to team sky's first encounter with brock really shows the growth that happened since then. Incredible!! Go Team Sky!!

Hey Mike, if you update the game, Team Sky Mikey could protect the land from a certain Pokemon that blots out the sky, protecting everyone from Team Night Sky.
I love when Mikey’s personas interact with each other and not the main Mikey persona. And Team sky leader and Dr Fuse was the perfect idea, plus Team Sky leader actually enjoying his time while Dr Fuse at the end just wanting to get rid of him was perfect.

it's always good to see a themed playthrough with how much energy you put into the characters, and while I love all of them, Team Sky/Mikey (Skykey) has had such a cool storyline and character development that he's probably my favourite. oh, and obligatory

Great video! I enjoyed the fact that Landon's starter (Blastsaur) was a creature of both the land and water. A perfect foil for Team Sky. Loved the Dr. Fusinal Dayinite cameo and the callback to Chanuk.
I love all of Mikey’s play throughs, but I think this one had me literally laughing out loud the most!! Loved the Team Sky/Dr. Fuse crossover!

Wow, this was a terrific video. I actually had done a fusion run as a team sky grunt which I enjoyed making and I'm sure that you also probably enjoyed making this video... and it of course turned out amazing.
Watching Mikey (Leader of Team Sky) grant his beloved Empoleon with flight was a very touching part of this story, and I was rooting for it to happen from the very beginning of the video.

Honestly I hadn't stopped to think about how well one can do a gimmick playthrough of Infinite Fusions, especially given the wider variety of PKMN you can find even in early routes, I really need to get back into playing this game. Great job as always Mikey!

I hope The Leader of Team Sky tries some not-so-famous regions in the future that aren't as well-known as the main ones(I mean fangames) to get some rest after his midlife crises in Paldea. Being a gym leader was helpful, so more vacations would help.
