Ndeysann what a shame!! 2024!! Gambians still using cutlasses to cut grass along the road instead of modern motorised mowers. The Government or Municipalities could have bought those modern mowers many years ago!!! Lii Gachélla!!!

I just thought thesame thing. Exposing the top soil is just going to be more dusty. Mowing it will lessen the dust.

It is very good that they do it but it is 2 bad that properly on the 6th of May everything will be back to how it was before. they should continue and not only do this to look good for the IOC meeting be to look good all year around.

    We’re still in 1950
There re grass cutter machines! Why not the govt buy proper equipment for clearing grass ? Smh 🤦‍♂️
They should stop using those outdated equipment.

@@Gambiathisweek But they’ve money to pay 7 media outlets to promote their agenda. Those grass cutter machines cost less than 30k dalasi each. The govt, thru NRA can purchase at least 5-10 of those and employ people to regularly maintain the view of drivers. We’re not yet ready for prime time.
Please ask Manneh why re they not cleaning our dusty roads! Our roads are all covered with sand.
