♡ what inspired my family’s move to the gambia?
- to sum it up, my parents always wanted to move to a country in africa, & after someone suggested gambia to them, they took a trip over here back in 2015 for vacation. the following year, we packed up everything we had & moved to the gambia, west africa all the way from little old clarksville, tennessee! crazy..right? 😅

- I’m currently 23, turning 24 October 11th!

- At the moment, I don’t think so. I really love traveling & I feel there’s so much more to see & experience in this world than what is limited to us in the US. - Zábava

I left just after Ramadan started. I am impressed how smart everyone is dressed - they all made an effort. At 14.52 you will see Sea Shells restaurant briefly - the best restaurant I came across in the 7 weeks I was there - just my opinion. You went to Kololi sands apartments - very impressive and I stayed 2 weeks there - quite expensive but you pay for what you get.

I should have mentioned that in the video! Totally forgot 🤦🏽♀️ it’s just like a gift (money) you give to children during the religious holidays! Sometimes older people will joke like (“where’s my Salibo”) but it’s mostly children who go around and ask for it during these holidays! ❤️

Hey Ricky I will be moving to the Gambia in Dec. I’ve heard in your videos you order from Amazon. How do you buy from them? How do you receive your order ? Do you order from Amazon UK ? Or does someone in the US ship it to you?? Please let me know. Also can you receive items from Temu and SHEIN? I will be moving to the village of Kanuma. Which is close to Barra. Hi! I usually order through these air freight shipping companies such as RedCoat. Some of my friends order SHEIN by DHL here, or by post office which take maybe 10-15 days. The quickest way with delivery I personally have seen is by plane as I mentioned earlier.
There are a couple of people here that do it. I’ll be sure to go into depth in a future video. ❤

Yes, you pay but not much, I think every year. For how long there is no time. But it's best to fence it and have a gate.

Mm rivers, not exactly.. but the ocean is not far at all. Sanyang beach is maybe just a couple kilometers away. And trees, yes of course! Plenty of those surrounding it.
