ShoutOut to broski this is the 1st time I'm seeing a professional male pamperer/nail tech before and he's African/Gambian🔥👏🏿 Wonder how he got in to that profession especially in a place like Gambia🤔 When I was in Gambia in December I was putting my durag on and my good freind said "Holal yangeh taka sah bopa kom sah jigen" (Your tying your head up like a girl). Just the other day now he's telling me his getting his hair braided🤣 I said to him "I thought you said that's a girl thing I must have inspired you?", he could do nothing but laugh at himself😂🤦🏿♂️ Point is glad to see African men try and do different things💯
The truth is a lot of Africans are still stuck in the backwards mindset that men have to be bald and if you put anything in your head you “want to be a women”. But most of them are hypocrites because when they leave Africa the first thing they do is grow their hair and loc it or braid it

That spa establishment is gorgeous. Do they have elevators for the disabled?

Unfortunately, there aren’t any elevators or ramps in this specific establishment. This is how the property was already built when they bought it. However, the staff here do all they can to cater to any individual with anything they need, so whatever the case may be, they will still find a way to serve you just like anyone else! ❤so no need to worry about that!
I will say, Gambia as a whole does not have many elevators, it’s quite rare. The ones that do, often have maintenance issues. I have yet to come across one establishment here that has had an constant working elevator without any issues. 🥴
Also, the owner of Mirrored herself said that when she expands the company to other spots, she will make sure those things are included when she has the building built!
