Cool fish man looks great what sort of size tank you think you gonna need to house him fully grow. 3 foot that’s a beast 6 foot tank sure what hold him long either ?
6ft will only hold him until he gets to 1.5ft-ish, then I have to think of something really big, but will plan for that when it comes😁. That will be at least a year away.

I found in England online crazy price £500 for 15cm £1000 for 30cm £4000 for 45cm crazy how much they cost in uk 😢 ended up going for auranti.. 3 for £150 still very expensive for me to spend on fish so my wife says 🙄 plus I think I’d need a 10 foot tank maybe one day.
You found those prices for Barca at Sims yes? Its actually cheaper in UK than what I got it for, so quite jealous at that😅😅. The prices for other fish here are much cheaper though. Aurantis are about 40 GBP each and Meghalaya Leopards are 60 GBP - saw it for 400 GBP at Sim!! Aurantis are fantastic fish as well, enjoy them! and there's the potential to breed, which cant be done with Barca.
@@ChannaScaping ya sims was only place I found wow even more expensive than that ya really happy with the aurantis and the tank set up it is a room divider tank but I just don’t have anywhere to put it to be able to view from both sides I am looking into moving house in about 3 years got big plans for a couple of massive tank also growing out a group of clown loaches want a big tank with loads of clown loaches. But am really getting in to snakehead mainly after watching your videos. When I move the 3 aurantis to a bigger tank gonna get a few bleheri to stay in the 4 foot tank as think that would be big enough as there forever tank.
@@thomasraymail You will not be the first person that is looking to upgrade their house in order to put in bigger tanks🤣. I'm actually thinking of that now myself😅. 4 ft for a bleheri group is good enough for their permanent home. Great to get more people in the hobby but one type of Channa is never enough, everyone always ends up trying to collect the whole series!😁

@@shermantay9077 Bought from a private seller for this Barca, Comparing Orna to Pulchra, Orna has much larger spots and only Orna will have spots on his face and head. Pulchra spots are only tiny dots and it have very few or none on its head area.
@@ChannaScaping what about body ? Pulchra will be much blue right . And I heard pulchra can grow even larger then orna . How much u Bought ur barca
@@shermantay9077 Both grow to same size about 12 inches. They are related and can breed with each other. Orna and Pulchra are both blue but Pulchra is dark blue/grey and Pulchra is more light powder blue. I have a new yellow lips orna I got last week and a red stripe pulchra that I will make a video about soon. As for the Barca price: Too much, dont want to think about it😅😅
