Glad you enjoyed your return to the Wheel of Time. The Gathering Storm is my favorite of everything so seeing it so high makes me happy. Happy Reading!

I'd only say that The Shepherds Crown, the final Tiffany book is also the final Discworld book and wraps up the series some important ways that it makes a very good book to read last.
Looking forward to more opinions further down the line.

Yes, I've been thinking about that (Shepherd's Crown). But a buddy-read with my wife is worth something too... 😀

Oooh, I love your ranking videos! I've not read but a couple of the books, but I do enjoy Hobb much more than McCaffery. Pratchett is great for lighthearted entertainment.
I finished Duncton Wood! I loved the last 200 pages or so. Once they got to Uffington to the end, the story was wonderful! Boswell and Comfrey were my favorite characters. Bracken and Rebecca were annoying IMHO, especially early in the book. It's a sweet little fairytale with a charming innocence about it. I understand your attraction to it's spirituality. Thank you for telling us all about it!

Thnx, BJ! That is such a relief that the ending of Duncton Wood picked up for you. I also love, love, love the ending. When Bracken & Rebecca behave like children again, and their final (you know what) with the Duncton Stone is pure magic to me. You name exactly the characters that appeal to me most as well. In Dunction Quest (book 2) Mayweed makes his appearance. He is hands down my favorite character of all time and all books...

Can't wait for you to catch up on the Cosmere ! Also, since you enjoy reading YA, you should definitely give 'The Hunger Games' a chance! It's dystopia but... as someone who has grown with this series and is aware of the influence this story has had not only on my generation but also in pop culture as well... i'd love to hear your thoughts. This series touches on a lot of topics that i think you'll find stimulating!

There is so much to read. My first planned Sanderson is Warbreaker. After that I will finally start his Stormlight! Thanks for the tip of Hunger Games. Heard about it, but has never been on my radar, before.

@@DutchGreyBeard you're wise to read Warbreaker first! That will pay off in the 2nd and 3rd instalments. I didn't do it on purpose but I was glad to have read Warbreaker first before reading those

I need to check out the Duncton Wood series at some point - seems to be rather well liked. And it's nice to see someone reading Pern! Funnily enough I've only read exactly the 6 of them that you ranked, the first 6, and I definitely agree with your placements. Not a bad quarter for you all in all I'd say!

Thanks. Yes, if you can get your hands on a copy of the Duncton books... Are you continuing with Pern? I've bought all the Anne McCaffrey books by now.

@@DutchGreyBeard Yes, I plan to a little later on this year. I've just been pushing it back based on opportunities I get to borrow and read other stuff from friends/the library.

I think those are all fair ratings. I’ve been meaning to ask you, how do you create those graphics showing the book covers and the timeline of when you read them etc?
