#DMC #Netflix #DevilMayCry - Hry
I so would love a trailer to come out of it! Not only will it bring back Vergil/V, Lady, Trish, Nero, Nico & possibly Lucia, but new characters too! Let's hope new inspirations for the franchise.
I so want more DMC!
My fear is that the show is going to ignore the world that Capcom built with DMC4 and DMC5. Maybe it’s the previous anime which was before DMC4 making me feel this way or maybe it’s the teaser for this but something just makes me feel like it’ll ignore a lot of elements of DMC. It would be cool if this show introduced characters or lore that ended up being in DMC6.
Just be patient for now. This anime is going to have its own continuity so it's allowed to take a few liberties here and there but I have a feeling the team behind it is going to respect what everyone loves about this franchise
Bro I get where you're coming from, especially after castlevania: nocturne, but I hope they stay true to the Capcom game series or at least not stray too for from it.
I am not hold my breath for this anime. I just need to treat it as high budget fan fiction.
I hope you aren't using fan-fiction as an insult.
More Updates and Details... Sweet!!!
It's being produced by the same guy as the Castlevania series, where everyone acted like they were written by the people that did the DMC reboot (which'd be bad enough in its own right, but it's especially out of character for the cast of Castlevania), screen time was mostly given to focusing on random subplots that had nothing to do with the games' original stories rather than anything actually resembling a Castlevania game (I don't care about Carmilla feuding with some viking clan or whatever, I'm here for a Belmont whipping his way through Dracula's demon castle) and weird race swapping and total recharacterizations or outright removal of existing characters like Grant.
I'll wait until it's out for final judgements, but I'm anything but hopeful. The Castlevania series was about as accurate to the source material as the live action Resident Evil movies are to theirs. Seemed like half the reason people liked it was just because 90% of them had never even heard of the games before, let alone actually played any of them.
I think people need to stop blaming Adi Shankar for what happened to the character of castlevania show and start blaming the writer warren ellis for that. A lot of the poor decision came from ellis and i don’t think Adi was even that involved with how the characters were like. He even left during s3 cuz he really wasn’t having a good time working with ellis. Ellis is an asshole his whole reason for making hector pathetic is because he didn’t like how the voice actor can sound heroic. That's why he made him like that so the voice actor has to voice all those lines. His reason for excluding grant was dumb as well. But unlike castlevania Adi looks more passionate about this series like he even got itsuno to supervise it and also got someone who worked on dmc4 to be a part of it not to mention he got an animation studio who are well known for their fight scenes. That's why I'm a little bit more hopeful for this.
@@gassnake4372 Interesting to hear. I certainly hope you're right, of course. It's not like I actually want my pessimistic assumptions to turn out true (even if they usually do, in my unfortunately extensive experience).
@@Squeaky245 yeah, that could happen sometimes.
I liked the Castlvania show and I played the games. There was no way to make a 1:1 adaptation of those games without it being bad they’re just completely different mediums as much as I like the games story, it’s a video game story. I actually cared about Draculas character in the Netflix show. DMC is a very different game though so I’m still hesitant.
@@cracker685 they very much could've tell some great stories from castlevania curse of darkness's story concept from the manga and from the game and the alucard stuffs from the games and the games supplemental materials but i would've not expect anything like that from warren ellis. Although devil may cry has more fleshed out characters so it shouldn’t be too hard to make a good dmc animated adaptation. I have a little more hope for the dmc series cuz Adi Shankar looks really passionate about it, like he even got the game's best director Hideaki Itsuno to supervise it and also got someone who worked on dmc4 to the project.
I seriously can’t wait for this one. One of my most anticipated shows in a long time
Let's hope for the best
I am curious if they will expand on lore that the game only touches. Nice video Devil.
I am very excited, I’m pretty open to new ideas so long as they are explored well within their own medium. I’m thrilled to see the cast return, potential original DMC outfits animated on this new Dante, and references to the reboot.
Reboot sucked hard. Nothing beats the OG
@@theslickdevil8560 That’s your opinion. I retain mine. I don’t expect references to the reboot in the anime, I’d just be glad to see them. Because, it’s special to me, and I have my reasons. But, I love the original series too. I’ve beaten all of them.
i think Dante´s outfit is a reference. i mean the shirt and the amulet he has.
well, i am not a big fan of the reboot as well, but i don´t mind references of it.
Whatever happens, I’m just seriously hoping for the fight scenes’ animation to actually be hype this time.
Idk about you, but the most disappointing aspect of the original anime was the fact that none of the fights in the show felt like it had half the hype and energy of what DMC should be, even compared to the cutscenes.
I hope to see some real effort at bombastic choreography in fight animation this time around.
i am excited to see more details and infos.
LETS GOOOO
Let's goooooo!
The voice crack had me😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I just hope if they bring the original charcters that they use their designs from the games.
Needs more sparda n mundis but that will never happen
You guys ready for Bisexual Dante? 😂🤣
What is your problem?
It cool that we getting dmc anime but the art is bad bad xD not like the old dmc anime and i now Netflix has money why not castlevania art ? But nop 😂
It was just a little teaser trailer , is not coming out this year u know that right? Lol they got plenty of time to work on the animation
we saw like 2 seconds of it right? and your already calling it bad. Having a simple design means you can have more creative animation, which I think is what we really care about right. for the record I actually think Dante looks fine but whatever
The art style of DMC Netflix Anime is the same as the art style of DMC5: Visions of V manga.
@@theninjararar exactly lol
