3 times are times of privacy as told by Quran:
    -Before Fajr prayer
-After Zuhr when people rest or have a nap
    -After Isha prayer
These are the three times of privacy and Quran tells us that one should seek permission before entering the room at these times. If Muslims are knowledgeable about this en masse... there would be no problem as everyone and every Muslim family would be aware of this and hence give couples their right to privacy. Solutions to our problems lie in coming back to Islam.

Imagine you going to the bathroom, after you've done the deed, and you bump into your father-in-law on the way and he's got his salwaar and bunaain (vest) on. How awkward would that be! The thought of copulating in a house with your family members is just so off putting. I really don't get how couples do it.

If you can afford it, having your own place is better because sometimes people don’t know how to mind their own business when you live with in-laws. I also think that having your own place can strengthen the relationship because it allows the couple to have that alone time and freedom as a couple. By all means visit the in-laws as much as you like, but living with them…nah. I understand that every couple has to do what is best for them. Allah knows best.

Before you get married you should have a separate place to live for just you and your wife so you can enjoy each others company without your family's interference. If both of your parents are healthy then there isn't a necessity to live together. The joint family system where the wife is expected to move in with the in laws is not from islam. This is a cultural practice mainly with the Indo/Pak culture. Everyone has the right to their own place. Ties can still be kept. Minimize a lifetime of conflict and break this archaic tradition as its not healthy for your relationship or your future family

My mom and my aunts were like MAIDS they had to serve my grandma and her daughter by taking dad by day their is nothing wrong with that but they were forced… and my grandma was aggressive to them and very unjust sadly, may Allah forgive her. So after 20 yrs they all bought their own houses and like that and my grandma now suffers from pain in her legs and body she could hardly walk bc she was relying too much on my aunts and mom so she wasn’t able to walk she would just relax on the couch for like 30 yrs.
