- Playing some BF5 in my American A20 Bomber, Raw first impressions as i try to unlock its upgrades and specialisations for the first time in this new content. Then out of nowhere a stranger flying the P51 Mustang turns out to be the best pilot i've ever seen?!?! He kept the skies clear all day. Very Cool. This wasn't even content vs Japanese, just vs Germany. Interesting! Only in Battlefield 5

Niccaman is the reason I bought bfv and his videos have entertained me more than any other bf youtuber by far. I wish he had more content to work with because watching him on warzone just doesn’t hit my nostalgia the same anymore

Can’t even play the a20 when I try to play it 1 no one is on the ground because everyone wants to play a20 and the other new planes 2 I get spawned camped by level 4 bf109s

Unrelated but I was on Wake Island I think and I was at 20 health before I took off I got rammed by a Jeep and shot at by dudes
Problem is is that they buffed the 109s and didn’t reset their spec trees which makes levelling up the new planes a nightmare

I spent time with AoA leveling my p70 up. A20 is inferior to p70 once you get 12x rockets

"I hate conquest" me too made, I've never played conquest since bf1 operations was a thing a breakthrough with this. Its just much better and it makes sense for a clash between 2 armies that they'd be trying to secure sectors in order rather than everyone just running around like a headless chicken with no real "objective"

Nicca, fun fact that high pitched noise you hear as the P-51 flys by is acting the holes in the barrels of the gun whistling. Insane details in this game XD

niccaman the whistle on the p-51 is actually the gun ports whistling after air pressure is flowing over the gun ports due to the lack of tape to cover up the ports
The whistle from the mustang puts a smile on my face every time I hear it😂

Aah I miss them days. BF V and BF 1 truly did have some great opportunities for good buddy-play in planes. Was nice to be the back gunner if you were getting a little fuckered up, just smoke, drink, and hang on for the ride. If you stuck to being a back-gunner, even if you were just mediocre, being focused on the job alone made your plane so much harder to take down and having a good chat while you were at it made it some of the most badass but also relaxed combat experience you could get.
That whistle from the P-51 is from the air hitting the gun barrels.

Fun fact: The whistling effect heard on the P-51D isn't the Merlin engine but is actually the machine gun ports on the front of the wings.

Even though Dice gave up on BFV, they definitely nailed the Merlin Engine for the North American P-51. I'm actually proud of them. Shame we won't see the SBD, the D3A1 Val, and possible sea battles for the Pacific.
Needed to let the game die. Just logged back in today after 3 months. Game is still pretty much garbage pluse they didn't even give the Americans different outfits for when they're fighting the Germans. Looks like a bunch of Pacific marines
@@oreosliders1500 if you want your Americans to have proper gear they have European theater skins now that you buy for cash (unfortunately)

I'm disappointed they didn't add any new Japanese vehicles in the final update but still looks like a good update

This plane with the 4x20mm cannons and engine upgrade is extremely formidable with whatever else you choose in the specialization tree

These new planes have brought alot of good pilots out the woods i just wish japan had the same abount of plans and tanks as the usa
The guns on the A-20 are the 6 .50 cals i.e. 12.7 mm HMGs facing forward 2 .50s in the top turret and 1 .50 in the bottom one. 6 .50s are the same armament as the P-51D, the F4U-1A and 1D.

The funny thing is, the reason the p51 sounds like that isn’t the engine at all, it’s actually the guns. The airflow over them makes a whistling sound. Like blowing on the top of a bottle.

Yea I was so surprised when I went on yesterday and it was American vs German and the fact they added American planes I was actually going to ask them to add the p51 mustang but I think they should add the b17 Flying Fortress into the game as a bomber

Nicca I suggest using the P70 Nightfighter to kill tanks the rockers are super powerful and when you get the 12x rockets you can kill a tank in a single strafe

With the a20 you can shoot pilots out of their cockpits with the 4x HE 20mms because of the splash damage
